Lol how is Corvo cool? He's not even a character, he's a floating camera with arms.
Because he looks like this:

The first was a solid 7/10 for me. Terrific stealth gameplay, underwhelming everything else. I'd like to see the sequel deliver a more interesting, less rote plot this time around, with some more varied environments to boot.
Oooh? I thought it was delayed to 2017? I must be remembering wrong.
I think Corvo is just really boring(especially compared to Daud from the DLC), but he's there if people really want him. Emily sounds like she's the really "cool", agile character from the early previews and interviews that they really built the game around.
"You can play Corvo again...but I think the draw for a lot of people is gonna be Emily Kaldwin" - Harvey Smith
I don't see what we lose by having both? I don't remember Corvo being very old in the first game anyway.
We lose concentration on the star of the show, i just don't see the point of adding him
Neat.
Will buy if it supports 3rd person view.
They're very good. The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches are fantastic, perfect examples of how expansion DLC can be amazing.Do I have to play the DLCs of the first one?
I have the PS4 edition, played only the campaign but never gave a chance to the DLCs.
Are they good?

I make take back what I said about Corvo being lame if he's voiced by Garret

Well that's why he should not be in it. Just seems like added bloat just so they could say they had two characters in there instead of the one the game actually considers.

I wish Emily was the only main character and Corvo was living in retirement somewhere. Just seems right to fully pass the torch to her and let her have her own story

Stephen Fuckin' Russell as Corvo?
Personally, I think they're better than the main game itself!
They are. Dishonored and Bioshock 2 have the unique distinctions of DLC superior to main content.
I've never played W3's DLC so I can't judge on that front.
Pretty bold release date, but I got the sense they're trying to go very big with this game, so it fits that objective.
Well technically they call it a "first person action game," but what do you mean pretend? I remember being pretty stealthy in the first one.
It's going to be a very tight PR push. The closer you get to XMas, the more titles can get lost in a flood of titles or sales. They haven't even released a single in-engine screenshot yet. No one knows what Dishonored on id tech looks like yet.
Getting a multiplayer vibe from these screen shots.

That's a pretty damn good cast.
Target hasn't cancelled my $20 pre-order yet. It'll be interesting to see if it goes through.
Exactly this, Tenchu 2 offered a very compelling 2 characters scenario, heck even Resident Evil was pretty neat as well, my main concern with Dishonored 2 is how both won't have separate campaigns, I was hoping for 2 different stories that makes a big whole story, or for both of them to playable through out the campaign where each mission shifts from one to another or something.I like the option for two stories. Reminds me of what Tenchu did.
