Uh, why don't you just start out tethered to the creep and then relocate to a cliff?

You can't bring creeps with you for the initial relocate. People were abusing that by bringing creeps into the enemy base, hiding them in the trees somewhere, which turned off backdoor protection. I guess they didn't disable bringing creeps back with you though.

I did try that, but it doesn't work- I think it was changed so that people wouldn't hide a melee creep near the enemy barracks to bypass the backdoor protection.
It turns out creeps are nowhere near as reliable as wards are anyway, both because they aren't invisible, and their sight radius is significantly smaller. Regardless, it can be pretty convenient to leave them on all the ward spots.

They may still disable it, but my logic is that it's very hard for you to hide a creep in the trees with this method, as force staff destroys all the trees , so the creep would just run and attack the barracks anyway. Blink dagger may do the trick though.
 
Thanks. I'll definitely try it out now, especially when facing any invis heroes.

Another question- when I am trying to cast force staff (or any other targeted item, if I recall), the cursor doesn't indicate whether the target is in range (the purple tinge) or if I need to move before I cast (the little man next to it). Is there any way to change this / a key I can press to highlight the range of it? I find that when I try to initiate with the force staff (casting it on one of the heroes that is caught slightly out of position) I always misjudge the range, and the delay causes him to be pushed in the wrong direction.

(of course the main reason I get force staff, beyond it's general utility, is then I can make permanent wards by force staffing to a rune spot, relocating to a creep wave, tethering to a melee creep and bringing him back with me. Free wards for the rest of the game)
There's a cfg script floating around there somewhere that displays range circles when you tap a key... thread?

Consumables (salve, clarity, bottle) only stop if you take more than 20 damage. Bane's sleep does 20 damage per tick which would be at the exact limit I believe (maybe he had a bit of magic resistance or something to put it under 20 damage?).

No, it's about HP removal type of damage. Pots treshhold is 19 damage per tick, btw. Everything above cancels healing.
 
Played drow like a clinkz today with phase and shadow blade. So damn fun.

First time I felt like I actually carried too. Owned my lane, got my items early, wrecked face in team fights, and finally managed to pull over 600 gpm and xpm. Feelsgoodman.

EG picks Pudge for G-1 League when they're playing from halfway across the world at something like 350 ping.

I really don't think it will stay as a halloween thing, it'll have the graveyard stuff in it for a limited time then that will be taken out but the overall fall map will stay until a christmas map comes out if they make one.
 
Why?

Default is better, but of those items A and B look cool.

Because they're arabian clothes designed to protect wearer from sun rays. Arms are still somewhat unprotected, but at least they've made steps in the right direction. Upon return from the desert her boobs would be as good as they were.
