Guys, can anybody explain to me what they've done to Drow's passive skill 3? It seems worthless to me (I am a noob, only lv18 atm) so I don't get it until last.
I go Stats and Ice Arrows until I can get my ult, then I pick up Silence. Bad move?

Everytime I see this thread bumped I think it's someone posting patch notes for the Halloween event.

I'm getting a constant crash since the last update, after searching i've seen people with similar issues but no solutions found.
Dota 2 freezes then a black screen appears usually with artifacts, similar to a driver crash, then the game minimizes. When trying to go back into the game, all i get is a black bar at the top left. Audio is still playing while all of this is going on.
This happens in game and in the menu. Only solution i've seen posted was that this is being caused by sli, but i disabled and it's still a no go.
I've re installed drivers, restarted steam and pc, tried sli and single gpu.
Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate
Intel Core i7-930
2x MSI gtx460
6GB RAM
nothing is oc'd.
Settings are everything is maxed, 1920x1080, vsync on(i've tried on and off), fullscreen (i've tried fullscreen and borderless window)
And I'm not sure if this effects anything but my monitor is running at 120hz, it was playing fine since the last patch at 120 though.

Is there any way to control the bots in a practice bot game?
Bear can use Midas too.
Do they have seperate timers or one timer for both? If they're on the same person.
Seperate timers.
It is too bad that you can't use both on the hero; the extra one is kind of a loss because you don't get to use it on the hero as far as I know.
No but the bear can use midas.

Tried that, but was unable to control him. And he was Radient as well. I want to make and control some enemy bots so I can play around with Rubick's spell steal

Pulse's trilane on the defensive against Dignitas' Undying, lol. That timely TP from the Prophet broke it apart completely.
Weird, I was able to when I last tried (was several patches ago at least).
Just watched that happen to our WD. Supported like a boss with 1001 wards.

So, tired of EU servers decided to try US East. Had two games, we stomped one, got stomped another. I fed in the lost game (was bane and had a bad start, and Pudge knew he could kill me easyly so he always hooked me) and nobody blamed me. The second game I laned with a guy who had mic, was cool when I misplayed, asked things nice and congratulated me for good support (I played nice WD). Another guy used his mic too. In both games there was some trashtalk but overall it was a very nice experience.

I've never really thought to use Tranquil boots on a carry but I've come to really like them recently. Keeps you in lane and farming really well and the 75 MS is good for chasing.
Aquila, Tranquils and Wand on my first and only game as PL got me a nice 18' radiance even though a leaver on my team made it 4v5 really early. Snowballed quickly and won that one easily.
Think I'll keep trying it. Not sure I'll be a fan on Silencer though. Cheaper spells from Tread stat swapping and bonus AS and HP seem like a trade off worthy of the extra money in his case.

I can sorta agree with that. I remember a while ago after not logging in to my steam account for a while I had 12 wins and 60 something losses. I didn't even remember playing half those games let alone losing them. I am at 62 wins and 88 losses now so I am working my way back to a 1.0 w/l rate.
Not necessarily an indicator of skill but experience is worth a lot.
