Reason why I never open chests is because I won't get a unusual courier like everyone else, "oh i never tried opening a chest before let me try this one" and they get fucking diamonds for it.
God I hate the item system so much sometimes.
I really hope not, if the other team are acting like idiots then me culling them is way of punishing them, learn words other then noob and you won't get culled.

I don't have a clue what DOTA is (really). But since my Steam is finally working again (it stopped for some random reason) and its telling me to download it, I did and watched some games and liked it. So, I really hope this is not against the rules or something, but is the only way to get in via that Sign Up for the beta? I already submited it anyway, and if so, does it take a long time for you to be accepted? How do I know if I am in? Sorry if these are idiot questions, but I really am clueless here. x_x

How do you beat a tri-lane with 2 stuns/disables and a Jugg that is effectively stacking and pulling the lane back?
Or do you just...play it defensively? Just send someone like Wind/BH/Beast to solo the lane and get levels in relative safety?

1) Depends on the heroes, you definitely don't attempt to fight it 2v3, 3v3 depends on the heroes you've got, and the 3v3 lane is mostly decided at fb.
2) No one can farm safely against that(unless the enemy team allows it), you basically give up a hero and win the other two lanes.
Got one too. This thing is not rare anymore it seems.

1.) In the game we just played, it was Rubick/Lina/Jugg. But I feel like any 2 easy disablers can provide the same results. CM/SK/Venge/blahblah.

Got that PA weapon that the Gaffer made today from Diretide (can't remember your name, sorry!)
Up to 3 Yellow and 3 Red essences now. S'pose I'll be making an orange one unless something else crops up. Maybe a straight red one. Also saw an unusual essence drop for the first time in however many games - wasn't mine though.
And I did try Jakiro out in Diretide - definitely a good hero for the mode as there's a lot of fighting in tight joke points, so you can really get a lot out of your spells. Went something like 15/4/X in the first 20 minutes of that game. Not the best for the Rosh fight part, but I may pick him up again due to that early/mid-game strength.

Bahh...my ISP is being shitty today causing me to dc at the beginning of a diretide game.
Rejoin the game, turns out 4 from of the opponent team choose to abandon the game and (I think) reported me.
Now I'm in the Low Priority Pool for the next 19 hours.

Never mind... found someone in one of the chat rooms. Glad that is over, lol.

This makes me think of new strategies to try in the Roshan fight? I wonder, do you think Spectre's Dispersion affects Roshan? I could see it being amazing just loading her up with as many Hearts and Rapiers as she can hold and tanking it.

About to try out Diretide for the first time. Any tips on hero choice?
Heroes with good AE, strong mid-game or preferably those that can take a bit of a beating.
Huskar, Undying, Jakiro are my three favorites at the moment

Gah, thought he might count. He's been that kind of weird middle ground between heroes and non-heroes.
Edit: Here's another one, and I couldn't ever tell if this worked. Does March of the Machines hurt Roshan? I can see a strat of loading up on Bloodstones and spamming March since you can't sheep anymore. On top of that spamming laser and a Dagon would help.
It wouldn't be any higher than just stacking DPS items.
I usually start working on my Daedalus by the end of the 1st part, then when the second one starts finish whatever I need for the crits and get 2 rapiers + something else if I can afford it.
Most I've gotten is MKB, 2x Rapier, Crits, AC and Treads on Sven. Didnt have room for TP but i dont die at Roshan anyway. Was pretty stupid dmg.

Ended up going as Tinker. Not sure what was happening for most of it. Also when we were killing Roshan, the enemy Axe kept executing my teammates.
And it wouldn't even work in melee range either, IIRC...?

yes? I'm not realy sure what you mean it reduces all damage by a % and reflects back. Close range gets the full reflect gets lower over distance
From the wiki:
Tiny with Aghs would still be affected, but if I'm reading that right that should be the only exception.
Unless that is just wrong or outdated. Or if my English is fooling me. No first-hand experience here.

i think it is poorly worded I'm sure it is 0-300 for full damage and then reducing from theere
Roshan's spells, like that multi-deafening blast thing (as long as you stand far enough away where it won't instagib you, but this is why you would get Hearts if this were your strategy)
