I might just buy him. Honestly I'm not too fussed either way. I've always been willing to spend money on "virtual toys," if I really can't find him by the end of the event then I could just trade for him, too. People aren't even asking for $11 worth of keys in trade at the moment.

Another 40 minutes until Na'Vi probably destroys some team I haven't heard of. Dunno if I can stay up for that.
I don't mind diretide so far, Aside from the long and dull roshan fights. The game is either a bit of a snore fest or a huge fucking fun mess. And i'm glad it mostly goes for 30 minutes.

That Disruptor from Polycount is fucking amazing.
Other than the first cycle everyone has just been queuing as two 5 man groups then you have one person from each team hit the other teams pot and have someone put it back in the pot. Get items to fight rosh ASAP and get tinker to buy bloodstones and allow him to get some kills to put charges on them. By the time the rosh fight starts everyone should already have the items they need, tinker keeps hexing rosh with the vyse>ulty combo while everyone else goes to town. Crit+minus armor makes short work of him.
They've changed it so the person who hexes rosh gets hexed too and the replay for the current time is unavailable. It honestly doesn't seem all that hard, the hardest part would be getting paired up, you just need 10 people with the time to keep retrying. I've been trying to get together 10 people I know but work schedules are all over the place.

I'm assuming so, the killcount total for one team doesn't match the death total of the other.
Man I love this dragon knight rare helmet I found, the slain dragon one. I just need the sword from sir davion set and the shoulders/bracers from slain dragon.
So how much are the essences actually worth? I'm done collecting them and trading 1:1 for other essences, wonder if I can get any common/uncommon items from trading them.

ESWC is owned by a French company, Dailymotion too, so i guess that's why they went with it, but its horrible.
How are you guys building Undying? I tried him today due to his Diretide hype, but I'm terrible with him and had no idea what I should be building.
Common essences are worth a lot less than that, I've just seen a guy on Reddit selling them for 0.25 keys (as in, 1 key for 4 essences).
lol...and I got 1 essence for 1 random common. Bought 6 of them and complete my 2nd egg just like that.

God I'm so tired. Farmed all day today and didn't manage to get any shadow essence yet.

You have no idea..... I just skimmed through the replay, which, by the way, is 7 and a half hours long.
It starts with dire, with pudge on the team, farming the radiant heroes at the radiant fountain. After pudge gets sufficient stacks of flesh heap, he steps into the radiant fountain, tanking it, and kills the entire enemy team with autoattacks using battle fury every time they spawn, for 6 hours.
After pudge has 70,000 bonus strength from flesh heap, and has bottled a double damage rune, they somehow trigger the boss fight. Pudge was hitting for so much damage, I think a lot of the hits on roshan weren't even registering.
There's a game going on right now that's doing this. Only around 177 minutes though. 7 hours is ridiculous.
How does pudge's health go negative? Also I see a magnus on the dire ward "tower" which I'm assuming is how roshan is stuck(he's targeting magnus), not moving on to the last phase?

I think the game goes into overtime when both teams have the same amount of candy.
Clever, they used the overtime to stack Pudge's STR to its highest, buffed him up with BS, Magnataur, and auras while they degraded Rosh's armor with Slar and VS. I'm not sure what the point of Lion was though. Maybe he's just there to Finger of Death.

Shadow Shaman has really been an all-star in my experience. The first two phases are so much more teamfight centric that his disables and wards get crazy utility and swing battles, and then in the Roshan fight having that Hex as well as the Wards with the periodic Refresh makes him really valuable.
