i can't trade items with people... the trade window opens, but then it just never loads. i've restarted dota, steam, the computer, tried with different people and nothing. my internet is fine as well
lately the steamcommunity pages don't work for me either. same problem, they just keep loading but never really open. does anyone have this sort of problem? i couldn't find anything on google. seems to be related to my isp, but everything else works just fine

has it been suggested that multiple unusual essences make any difference? I hadn't read anything to that end.
Not sure, I've seen different people say different things. I think the general consensus is that it will add a stronger unusual effect.
Not perse, not yet anyway. But if you wanna do it outside of the steam client that's your own risk and they don't really care, if you get fucked over it's your own problem then. Inside Steam you can't put money in the trade. In the future it might be possible to trade with steam wallet money though. But that's kinda shady so Valve hasn't put that in yet, or is thinking about it still.

Still playing for those items. I'll quit diretide once halloween is over.
Been playing since the mode released and have had nothing but shitty items. Two days ago we lost a game by one candy. What was a pretty intense match.

Match Making for normal Dota 2 matches has been pretty slow lately with everyone playing diretide now. Maybe Valve should just make diretide the official version of Dota 2 since it seems like people like that version more.

I'd assume most people like that they get more items, at least I do. Although I would not mind a more casual DOTA 2 mode with shorter game sessions.

I don't like it at all, but I like getting free items so I'm playing it until the 11th (or until I can't stand it anymore).
Same here. Most ppl play it for the item drops for sure.
I played Diretide 2 times and already felt tired and bored.
