You know, I actually thought the first game looked pretty decent on the PC at times. The Fade was disastrously hideous, but outside of that the game at times looked quite good. People would say things like "Mass Effect looks 20x better", and I didn't particularly agree.

This, however, is simply ugly. It looks like Brutal Legend with bad art.

That's pretty disappointing looking. I had high expectations as I'm thoroughly enjoying Dragon Age. I'm hoping subsequent screens look MUCH better.

Part of me was hoping they'd adopt a cel shaded approach that mirrored some of the art they'd been showing.

EDIT: I was also really hoping it would look better than Mass Effect II. Everything looks so washed out and textures are low res....
