Episode 16's title is "Vegeta becomes a disciple". That's also right before a timeskip too, based on those new descriptions.

I wonder if they're going to use Toriyama's Hell or Toei's Hell for Freeza's episode.
After all, they left in Kai the filler scene with Freeza talking to all the other villians during the Kid Buu fight.

Well, if the anime hell is to be used, I'd like them to say that Frieza actually did do some training down there. After all, Cell was down there and also much stronger.
And he knew Goku was getting stronger.

I'm just confused at this point. There are those new movies. Then suddenly there is a new TV show which apparently just recaps the movies with terrible animations and filler. At the same time there is some new manga that isn't even drawn by Toriyama and also recaps the movies in a different way. Somehow there also seem to be new characters from this horrible, horrible new game for reasons I will never be able to comprehend.
Will Super even tell a new story at some point? And, most importantly, does or did Toriyama actually write it?

The manga version of Super recaps the movies, including some of the changes from the Super show (like shockwaves impacting the universe and no time limit for Super Saiyan God), but it's much shorter due to monthly chapters, overall closer to the movies and seems to be giving more focus to setting up Super's future new arc than the retelling, it's especially obvious with the latest chapter.
Huh? No. None of the game characters are appearing in any version of Super (at least so far).
Toriyama wrote a story outline for Super, but he isn't actually writing the tv show episodes directly. Toei's writers are the ones expanding that outline into episode script. Same thing goes to the manga.
We don't know if this retelling is part of Toriyama's outline or not though. The official comments about Toriyama's outline have only referenced the new story, but it hasn't been said that it didn't cover the retelling either. Anyway, after the retelling there'll be a new arc involving "Universe 6" and the giant "Super Dragonballs".

I thought 10 and 11 were really good.
I thought 12 was horrendous. (the reused shots, the dragons, nothing fucking happened etc..).
This one had great drawings, a lot of humor, lots of story progression, and cool fight in the second part !

Ok, Episode 13 is the best one so far, in my opinion. Drawings were Z quality, it handled the "battle between gods" and Goku
way better than the movie. It felt exciting even if I already know what's going to happen.
Also loved the animation in the new ending, it feels reminiscent of the first one, romantic ageru yo.
