So from a fighting game perspective Krillin relies on a gimmick. Tien's fundamentals are on another level which means Tien wins.

No, Krillin wins because he's way more popular. I also don't know how it's a gimmick when they're both energy attacks that require the user's full power, only Tien's was suicidal.

whatever they are, they are not born human
And they never were intended to be, they were introduced as artificial things. Its not like Goku who was a human with a tail before he got his backstory that he is an alien who just looks like a human whatever they are, they are not born human
They were born human, then modified with mechanical parts and cybernetic enhancements which made them partly machine, partly biological.
Androids 16 and 19 are completely machine. 17, 18, and 20 are humans outfitted with machine parts.

Ok sorry, so they were Born human but I wouldnt consider them the strongest human cause they dont got strong by themselves but rather to technical advantage. Similar to Vegeta in GT when he got a machine from Bulma to get SSJ4...and didnt Krillin had to wish that his girl gets human?
They tried that, but it was beyond the dragon's power, apparently. So they wished for her bomb to be removed, instead.

I always wondered why Dr. Gero didn't make himself like 17 and 18 when he knew they were stronger. Why did he go the weaker route? Never made sense.
Maybe it was impossible for him to get as in-depth since he was working on himself?
I think Toriyama said 17 and 18 age slowly, so I assume Gero wanted a body that would never die

There's actually a magazine scan that mentions
Piccolo and Vegeta stepping in when Goku runs out of power during the battle.
(we already know Vegeta is getting SSJGSS eventually, but Piccolo being mentioned alongside him is surprising).
It means nothing, really.
I would be 100% okay with Piccolo getting an arbitrary power boost in order to be back in the relevant tier. Just have King Kai teach him the Kaioken or something, considering Piccolo's Super Namekian status plus any training he's done since the Cell saga that would boost him up considerably.

It means nothing in a practical sense (as in, they won't get instantly stronger just because they're helping Goku), but the fact that they'll have Piccolo there right alongside Vegeta, while Goten, Trunks and Gohan weren't mentioned seems to suggest some interest on using Piccolo's character in an active position, which would inevitably lead to a power up.
That'd be basically irrelevant. The God power ups pretty much make even the old SSJ forms useless. Kaioken wouldn't have any point either. Any important power up will have to be a new one.
I guess Fusion still could be relevant, but I feel like we won't see it again aside from Gotenks hijincks.

If we apply the Law of DragonBall Powerup Bullshit (TM pending) then Piccolo w/ Kaioken can totally work. Just say his Namekian body and regeneration can allow him to withstand Kaioken buffs that Goku could not. So just say Piccolo can do a Kaioken times 200 or some crazy shit.

I for one would welcome a fusion with King Piccolo. I would love to see them interact. Piccolo you know what to do, use dem Dragonballs and meet your father. Maybe wish your weird looking brothers back a fuse with them too.

Piccolo would need to fuse with a Super Namek like Lord Slug and then find a transformation where he turns another color or something to be relevant.

That's kinda how it's always been? Naruto and Sasuke from the start was partly inspired by Goku and Vegeta's rivalry.

I like Tien well enough but Krillin will always be my favorite fodder human due to being a great everyman. Plus he's short, Asian, and married a smoking hot blonde...just like me!

I always wished Tien provided a better matchup against Drum.
Drum was probably as strong as Tambourine and Goku whooped Tambourine (the second go around of not being hungry). And Tien and Goku were roughly equals at the time.
