Sure, but how did the first episode do?

The first episode ranked fourth in weekly anime-ratings in the Kanto-area around Tokyo, with 7.9% viwership, behind Sazae-san, One Piece (which airs right after DBS) and Chibi Maruko-chan. For comparison, ranked fifth was Yokai Watch at 4.6%.

So 30 because he was dead for 7 years. So he is like 10 years older then Gohan lol

Gohan is like 17. The ages I'm giving might be kinda off through due to how they are changing around BotG so its not really clear has soon after the Buu saga this takes place, but the gaps should be right.

Ugh, another filler episode with a very slow build up. Judging by the preview of the next episode, it's still gonna be a while before anything interesting starts.

Is this series ignoring what happened in BoG? Cause the timeline doesn't make sense at all.

Not much happened, but it was still a good episode, the artwork was really good. I really like how they are setting up Super Saiyan God way better than the original movie.
Also lol at Goku throwing the "Only 40 tons" bullshit from the Buu saga out the window.

It's rewriting BoG.
Episode 5 is when the fighting starts.

They're retelling BoG and RF as part of the show.

Every part with Vegeta was awesome / hilarious.
Also that throwback to the previous series was really cool. I love when a show isn't shy to literally show it's previous incarnation, if it serves the plot.

Vegeta stuff was hilarious lol

I don't mind them retelling BoG since it's been quite different so far. No reusing animation from the movie yet (which might suck once we get to the fighting. No way the series can match the movie budget on that)

The planet's explosion was reusing animation from Resurrection 'F'.

Episode 2 was meh, and closer to bad on the good/bad spectrum, imo.

It's just wheel spinning and the premise of Vegeta on holiday didn't turn out as funny as I thought it would.

Vegeta must've been slacking hard, dude used to train in 400x gravity like nothing and now he's getting winded in 150x.

I'm pretty sure the 400x gravity was filler.
And Goku seemed to think training on King Kai's planet was plenty.

Did you see the shit he was dragging and lifting? 10X just makes that even heavier, and he has a perfect sphere to go around and doesn't have to worry about a ceiling.

Fun episode, the Vegeta family vacation stuff was entertaining. Not gonna lie though, some of this was animated like complete ass, lmao. Toei gonna Toei, I guess.

you're right it was actually 300x, and we never see him actually train under it but it's implied he did.

though there's still Goku training in 100x gravity fresh off the saiyan saga, Vegeta getting winded at 150x is still crazy

Probably because vegeta wasn't in ssj mode, seems like he and goku like to train in their regular form.
