That was fucking shit, the Vegeta part was funny and all but they just retreading steps there with the anorexic cat and the blue dude. Best part was the Japanese adverts, the one for blueberries was particularly good.

Rest of the characters show up in the next episode, which is nice. I think it's interesting they are pretty much retconning the original length between the end of Buu and the Battle of Gods film now though. Hopefully once they get past that stuff the new stuff will be a bit more interesting.
Haven't watched the episode yet, but Kanzenshuu's episode guide is up for anyone that has.

i'm almost 100% certain that story is mistaken for a placeholder number Toei had on there site. It's not planned to be 100 episodes. So far the only factual information on this is that Toriyama has described 3 arcs. From episode synopsis of the first 5 you can speculate the first arc will seemingly play out in under 20 episodes?
