I know what abridged it, but I dont remember the scene at all...
Oh okay sorry then.
It was one of the post-credit scenes, but I don't remember wich episode it was :/
Yo what was up with the animation drop off from episode 4 to 5?
Kinda carried over to episode 6 as well.
GT had better animation than this man.
No problem
So I guess it was DBZ and with over 290 episodes some scenes have to slip out of my memory(no pun about briefs and bulma intended...)
It's not from DBZ, it's from DBZ abridged, I know you said you know what that is, but this post seems to imply that you don't.
Actually they do very often you just don't notice it because it's subtle most of the time. The scene has to be from DBZ cause as far as I know Abridged doesnt "animate" stuff themselves....

Yes they made that clone baby thing, it ain't in the show.
They have making of videos, check them out.
Breh have you seen Gohan vs. Cell

Do we really have to go over this shit every couple pages?
I'm not gonna post anymore after this, but I found the clip where the pic you posted is from https://youtu.be/G3qThJ_9090?t=27m5s and I also have the clip of the fight from Super https://youtu.be/fRCHcIKf1k8?t=21s
There is no way you can tell me with a straight face that Z isn't more consistent with its art style and quality than Super is. Even with that frame picture you took it looks much better in action than Episode 5 did at all. That's all I have to say. Of course its only been one fight and its early on, but if we have to compare it to a show from the 90s well then go ahead. I was pointing out that it should be leagues above Z and GT but it isn't.
We had 6 episodes, 1 with bad animation and you want to talk about consistency? Please, follow your advice and stop posting.
Holy fuck. Literally read the next few sentences lmao. Stay salty.
I would like to believe that but body switching.

Let's have more power level theory crafting and less frame-by-frame animation critique, shall we?
DBZ power level theory-crafting takes me back to 10th grade algebra II class, where our corner of the room basically spent most days doing the same thing. We even had a classic anime nerd who had a full collection of those button down DBZ character shirts.
The only time I actually got sent to the principal was along with a couple of those kids when we got into an argument over who would win between broly and janemba.
Overall, I am enjoying the show so far. I liked the movie a lot as well and animation failings aside, I am liking this take a lot more. A lot of the changes make more sense and fit the tv format better anyway, especially for a show like DBZ.
It took a SSJ Gogeta to take Janemba down, why even argue bro?Let's have more power level theory crafting and less frame-by-frame animation critique, shall we?

Brolys power level was always hard to gauge. He never really actually gets hurt until the last second when the movie has to end.
He dominates his fights with ease only until the writers say, "shit we made this guy too strong and no we have to find a way to end this movie"
Yeah I'm going to assume Gohan went SSJ2 against Broly in movie 10. No reason not to fight at full power and we saw him go SSJ2 at the world martial arts tournament.Broly lost because of a plot device. That's a big problem when a villain needs to die in a movie that's just happens to be too powerful. His defeat is an ass pull.
If he were to be scaled to the series I'd have him at around Fat Majin Buus level. Stronger than a SSJ 2 but weaker than a SSJ 3.

I can't imagine Gohan holding back against Dabura. Vegeta and Goku were totally unimpressed with Gohans strength. And even Gohan admitted he was disappointed in his abilities. If he was holding back, I think we would have known. That was after Videl was wounded though. He doesn't seem to go SSJ2 against Dabura afterwards (although this is debatable too). Also, Gohan in the 2nd Broly movie has his design from the pre-Budokai training arc, where he only was using SSJ1.
Any hope that Future Trunks, Time Travel or the Time Patrollers will show up?
I think it would be interesting to see what happened to Future Trunks after the Cell Saga. Dragon Ball Xenoverse made it seem like he would never live a normal life(went straight from returning to a timeline full of earthlings who were killed, to killing the androids and cell, to being recruited as a time patroller stuck having to watch over the threads of time for as long as he lives, I would assume as punishment for messing with time in the first place).
I can't remember if he had the electricity in the manga in that fight. The animators were notoriously lazy and often omitted that defining characteristic despite it being present in the manga.Gohan no doubt goes SSJ 2 in both Broly and Dabura fights. His hair looks more spiked and let's not forget he can go SSJ 2 on the fly.
Dabura is probably as strong as Gohan was when he fought Cell.
I always thought that Broly's power is infinite in the sense that while the saiyan need to get hurt to become more powerful, he is mentally sick and always "hurt", the more he is angered and has reasons to fight the more powerful he becomes . Broly from movie 1 was nowhere as powerful as a ssj2 but than he reapers and defeats Gohan with easy. If he was still around he might have been at ssj3 level or even more

You're assuming that Gohan could still turn SSJ2 at will even after not training for 7 years. If he couldn't do it at will, the inconsistency regarding his form's design (especially in the manga, where Gohan vs Dabura would be the only case of a SSJ2 without sparks) suddenly makes a lot of sense.
Gohan turned SSJ 2 at will durin the world tourney when Kioshin told him to power up.
The Time Patroller stuff was made up for video games and has no bearing on the anime. I would not hold my breath for any of Online or Xenoverse's stuff showing up in DBS, it's its own thing.
Buu and Beerus would still be things in his world I would assume. Without Goku and Gohan around he would be more screwed than ever.

meh, the way I see it every comparison is moot unless we see them moving. This is an animated show after all. The biggest crime in that shot of super is how they move Beerus around rather than Goku.
Just think. They could do a Time Patroller angle where a demon goes back and imbues Yamcha with the dark power it gave everyone else in those games.
But GT had terrible character proportions and art.
