The weird thing is that

Frost is mentioned as Emperor of the Universe in the kaizenshuu thing.

So that must mean Frost is actually good and the Saiyans are his police force or something.

Which fits with the U7 Galaxy King and Jaco coming, so they can talk out dominating the galaxy/universe with each other.

New Frieza being bad too wouldn't have made sense, unless he goes from good to bad.

I feel like Super has made Goku out to be a bigger idiot than usual.

You mean the guy who didn't know his own age, who married a girl who just showed up demanding his hand, whose plan for dealing with an incoming apocalypse is just letting it happen because it might be fun?

I feel like Super has made Goku out to be a bigger idiot than usual.

I wouldn't know. Apparently
the English dub of DBZ portrays Goku a lot more intelligently than the original ("I am justice" yada-yada). I haven't watched the orignal Japanese DBZ episodes, so I'm wondering if Goku comes across as similarly idiotic in that
.

Things Goku has needed to learn to count for:

-Up to 7, for the dragon balls.

-Up to 50, for the kaioken.

That's all.

He knows how to read because he needs to read the names of the participants in the tournaments he attends, but even writing must be a problem for him.

We don't know if the Saiyans work for Frost, but Piccolo does say he doesn't sense evil Ki from Frost.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that anyone who partook in the SSG ritual has the potentional to tap into the God Ki since they have technically already felt it. Vegeta and Goku trained with Beerus, so it made getting there much easier, and they didn't really explain it too much anyways. As for Gohan it can be hand waved as mystic shit.

SSG Pan CONFIRMED!

Videl to become the first Super Human God aww yeah

I've just watched the first episode of Super after putting it off for awhile, and man is this shit funny. 100 million

It feels good to be watching a Dragonball series again after so long, I missed these characters. Hopefully my boy Gohan shines in this series.

Oh he'll shine alright

Well, he does talk in a very hick dialect in the manga and the Japanese version of the show.

Oh my god.

Goku runs around like a fool because he ate too much and needs to work it off before he can fight properly.

It's not like he was educated in anything other than martial arts, either.

So even if he wasn't a born idiot he had no chance.

Master Roshi also included basic education including reading in Goku's and Krillin's training. Now we finally see the pay off.

Goku is uneducated, barely having been taught by Grandpa Gohan (probably?) and Roshi how to read and basic math. He has never had any use for those skills whatsoever.

He is super intelligent, tho, seeing how he is the only character who, upon seeing a teleportation skill, immediately decided to learn it, unlike all the other so called """"intelligent"""" characters like Piccolo, Gohan and Vegeta, who never ever have been even a little curious about how teleportation works.

Or he's a selfish asshole who learns techniques in distant worlds and refuses to teach them to anyone back on Earth.

At the very least Gohan would have been taught during the Cell training. But nope.

He is shown at least teaching Fusion to the kids during Buu, so that's an instance of him coming out and deciding to teach someone something.

Thing is, Goku is otherwise never teaching movements; he has very few techniques of his own, he is mostly taught or he copies techniques. If you want to look for Goku's own techniques you have to count stuff like the monkey kung fu during the first tourney or...going super saiyan.

Goku was uneducated, irgnorant and naive.

In no way was he stupid.

He was a kid who grew up alone. But he always displayed extremely sharp thinking, and genius when it came to fighting strategies.

He was never an idiot.

Super likes to make him pass for an empty head though.

Also that saiyan backstory is extremely interesting.

It seems I missed something what's the summary of the new chapter?

new chapter spoilers from kanzenshuu forum.
raws are out to look out as well

Based on Herms' translations of info and filled in with anything of relevance from the Korean text.

--Piccolo says Frost's presence doesn't feel violent.
--Cabba's clothes are what Saiyans wore before the annexation by Freeza.
--Cabba doesn't seem to recognize the name Freeza.
--Cabba is from Planet Salad.
--In Universe 7, Salad was the Saiyan homeworld as well, before it was destroyed by "internal discord". Once destroyed, the U7 Saiyans stole another planet and named it "Planet Vegeta".
--Universe 6 Saiyans have lost their tails via the evolution process.
--Universe 6 Saiyans are still a warrior race, but they don’t steal planets. They are actually employed to take down evil beings.
--Vegeta wants to visit planet Salad and Cabba says okay since they don't steal planets anymore.
--Test has 10 questions, anything above 50% is passing.
--Buu fails everything and didn't even write his name right.
--Goku barely passed with a 50%.
--Order is determined by Janken: Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta. Beerus demanded Monaka was last.
--There's a "Space-tional Anthem"..."SPACE IS VAAAAASTTTT!"
--Botamo is Champa's first fighter, so Goku vs. Botamo.
--Goku runs around like a fool because he ate too much and needs to work it off before he can fight properly.
--Champa admits he underestimated Beerus' Saiyans, but suggests Botamo has his own surprises.

Booo at U6 saiyans
losing their tails due to evolution , this was the one chance to finally bring back oozaru, goddammit AT.

That's actually a very logical way to get rid of their tails. Very good writing.

The ozaru form has absolutely no benefits now. It's makes them uncontrollable and reckless. The whole show has been geared towards the saiyan race finally being able to leave such a massive fault of theirs behind so it makes sense that the saiyan race in Universe 6 have naturally evolved away from using their ozaru form.

Anybody else actually glad that these guys dont seem evil? I mean yes the outcome of the tournament itself is very threatening and bad but as far as the participants go they dont seem to bad i like it.

Universe 6 sounds like a neat place.
All this set up makes it kind of obvious Beerus' team is going to lose, Earths will switch and they can introduce all the other new things.

Well it
makes sense every one on Nippos team is good. If they brought in Freeza for the 7 universe team I would expect someone to be evil on the 6 universe team but its not what happened.
and them
not using gender pronouns confirms to me that that saiyan is female.

Which means that
even if Gohan shows up to help the U7 team, he still loses.

Forever a fuccboy.

Also going to come out and say that at least
Hit is evil
