Have we seen any 'autovista' style car porn in driveclub yet, or only from the races? Aren't the forza 5 cars much higher detailed in the garage than in races?


I don't think it is unreasonable to compare them, as they are both big first party titles and both racing games. Context should be taken into account though, bearing in mind the different styles (sim/arcade) and graphics focus (30 vs 60 FPS)

Driveclub will be DLC hell.

They probably are comparing the garage cars rendered in high detail. Actual in game Forza cars are not that great.

EDIT: Just watched the new footage again, and yea, there's none of those issues with the crowd any more. They seem to be all realistically proportioned and fully geometric.

You know, someone can be unhappy with a PS4 exclusive without being an Xbox fanboy. In this case, Driveclub appears to have not won over every media outlet. So be it.

That doesn't mean you can't enjoy it.

The PS Access video is so awesome. All the good questions are being asked and answered. The load time for a race is less than 10 seconds no matter what! o_O

Disaster sounds a bit melodramatic. Mirrored is pretty standard for racing games; 10 minute super special stages sound pretty awesome. The circuits are the only parts that could be a little too short, but maybe the shorter ones are designed more for the slower cars?

Why even include the ign preview in the OP. Anytime you include attention whoring shit with legitimate comments, the attention whore will hijack the discussion. This will be about how much of a fanboy that guy is and not how well the game is being previewed. Ugh. OP sabotaged the thread from its creation. Outliers should get separate troll threads of their own. PEACE.

forza 5 and drive club is a useless comparison.

Though some people may prefer the smoothness 60fps gives forza 5, and some people may prefer the better lighting and polycount of driveclub.

There is no conclusive verdict of a better looking game just opinions.

The video gamer video says he raced with a "couple of Ferraris". The only one we knew about was the F12

I agree, but taking it out on the OP? I do hope people here are mature enough to talk about the game. But like always it is about graphics this/that and boasting who has the longest + bitching about a person that is voicing his opinion, be it crazy or not. I really do believe I took a wrong turn and didn't end up on a gaming forum.

OT: The game looks a lot more fun now than before.
