That doesn't make much sense to me though. Kind of like saying "Considering SF4 is out in arcades, it probably wouldn't be too fun to SF2 Hd Remix or SF3: 3rd Strike". I mean, I can understand the rationale, but when SF has 2 prequels in there along with SF4, it wouldn't hold up if that's the real reason.

It's really more like saying, why play Second Impact when Third Strike is out, or why play World Warrior when ST is out. Capcom makes all of their tweaks under the same number, and when they go to the next number, the game is completely different. Most of the time with Tekken, VF, SC, the difference from one game to it's predecessor is not as massive.

It's cool, I know you know all of that shit I posted anyway. Someone was defending the lack of variety in games at EVO this year by stating the latest versions of Tekken and VF are unavailable on the home consoles. I personally would run Tekken Tag in lieu of not being able to run Tekken 6, and VF 2 in lieu of not having VF5:R but I also agree running Tekken 5 instead of 6 or VF 5 instead of 5R would be lame.

Still feels strange not having any version of Tekken at EVO.

That really wouldn't change a whole lot... the VF turnout has always been pretty low compared to the other games. I think that most of the time it's there just to show respect to the series, not because it's popular.
