Wonder if this will get news articles on websites about how the game is "broken"
That'd be nice, since, you know, the game is broken.

That gave me an amazing idea. When I get DS3, I'm totally naming my character Middlefinger Kirk

holy shit, hacker visits hacker

This is so accurate.
"Do you feel in charge"
Malcolm just got beaten by that other hacker.
so this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXZztAPhZXM
is why he is doing it?

This guy reminds me of Death Gun from Sword Art Online, except instead of dying IRL his victims get banned.
Except DaS3 can't be modded because well, you'd get banned.
Did you miss the entirely second half of season 1?Shame about season 2. Season 1 of that show was top tier.
I don't think it's wrong to see a game with lots of cheaters on PC and say "I"m glad I'm playing on consoles."
Just like it's not wrong to see a fast-paced game that's locked to 30 fps on consoles, and saying, "I'm glad I'm playing on PC."
In this specific instance, the console version has a clear advantage.
Cheating is always going to be more of a problem on PC. That's just one of the downsides to having an open platform. Sure, good anticheat systems help, but those take time and effort to implement.
No it wasn't.Shame about season 2. Season 1 of that show was top tier.

No it wasn't.
The automatic ban system is broken. Though I suppose you could stretch that to the game itself since multiplayer is a huge part of it.
Your remark on season one.Eh, it gets a bit rocky, but I loved the concept and idea. Wish it was more fleshed out with MMO content.
Overall or my remark on season 2? I just couldn't get into the fairy stuff after season 1.

I'd still rather be playing the PC version of DS3 tbqh

Wait he got killed by another hacker? lol is there a vid somewhere?

I think getting dozens of people banned and complaining to Namco will probably light a fire under their ass to get it together at least.
I have a funny feeling if there was a button you could click that would make some random person on the other side of the world spontaneously combust, way too many people would never stop clicking that button.
lol he got killed again.
Well thank god their "ban" system is shitty enough that you can just go to one of your backup saves where you're not banned yet and go on your merry way.
Remember to keep a recent backup, you'll never know when you need it but you'll be glad if you have it!
So how has he been killed?
Bans come in waves (for DS2 it was every Wednesday and Saturday iirc) -- once your data is flagged it's flagged for good, even if you restore it, afaik.Well thank god their "ban" system is shitty enough that you can just go to one of your backup saves where you're not banned yet and go on your merry way.

EDIT: Wondered why "Feel the bern", but now it hit me - OP wanted to PSA us, right?
Better cheaters
Bandai Namco support is saying otherwise, that you just have to remove whatever is triggering the "invalid game data" prompt ASAP to stay unbannedBans come in waves (for DS2 it was every Wednesday and Saturday iirc) -- once your data is flagged it's flagged for good, even if you restore it, afaik.

stream is offline now
Not to be dismissive or anything but after what happened with DS2 softbans i wouldn't trust what Namco says. They gave out false info (knowingly or otherwise) then too. Seems like From runs the servers.Bandai Namco support is saying otherwise, that you just have to remove whatever is triggering the "invalid game data" prompt ASAP to stay unbanned
