What in the hell was Square Enix thinking when they designed these vile creatures?
Are you seriously miss out on such good game over moogle design?Imagine turning moogles into retarded looking koalas...
I just can't wait to never play this thing...
No, that is just the icing on the shit cake. Are you seriously miss out on such good game over moogle design?
retarded looking koalas...
Lol nothing strange in discussing when a beloved design get fucked up.Discussing the look of fucking teddy bears. This is a new low for gaf.
You do know Nomura is not the writer for this game...right? He also wasn't for Remake either. No, that is just the icing on the shit cake.
I gave a chance to part 1 but i just can't stand seeing my second favourite game of all time getting milked and butchered by nomura.
This is the worst Moogle redesign ever made in the entire Final Fantasy history so I think it's more than fine to poke fun at their new look.Discussing the look of fucking teddy bears. This is a new low for gaf.
I consider Moogle in XIII-2 is worse. This is the worst Moogle redesign ever made in the entire Final Fantasy history so I think it's more than fine to poke fun at their new look.
He is the director, you can bet that many ideas were coming from him.You do know Nomura is not the writer for this game...right? He also wasn't for Remake either.
I don't disagree but that happened 20 years ago. At some point you just have to let go and not let such things upset you anymore.they turned a game i loved into a milking operation with kingdom hearts level of plot.
I don't like this Moogle's puffy and slightly rosy cheeks but he still looks alright in my opinion.I consider Moogle in XIII-2 is worse.
hell, yes. you wanna come over & sit & comfort me after the nightmares that'd follow if I did play it? it's the same reason i'll continue to steer clear of this monstrosity:Are you seriously miss out on such good game over moogle design?
No, it didn't happened 20 years ago, it happened a couple of years ago when part 1 released and a couple of days ago when part 2 released, and it's gonna happen again when part 3 is gonna come out.I don't disagree but that happened 20 years ago. Moogles are ugly and so are koalas they are based on.

I agree, the nose, mouth, and piano key teeth look terrible. Dood looks like he's wearing a garbage bag with a garbage bag for a belt.
He looks noticeably less intimidating than his old design. I think Marvel Infinite had a better Nemesis design. Thank god for mods.
I can let go of many things, ruining the remake i dreamed of since this tech demo came out, is not one of those things.

We are passionate gamers, i think that getting relatively mad about a beloved game is still far more healthy and less cringe than literally any console war post inside gaf where people protect billionaire companies that gives 2 fucks about them.It did start 20 years ago, when the Compilation of FFVII was born. Advent Children, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus... all fanfiction-tier cashgrabs that have no effect on the original FFVII - it still exists untouched and unblemished by anything that came afterwards. Trust me, I love the original as much as you do (currently replaying it on Steam btw), but it's really not worth getting angry over.
Having said that, as a FF fan in general, I think Remake + Rebirth have the best FF combat system since FFXII so it's worth playing for that alone IMO. And as someone who adores the original FFVII, I love seeing the world recreated in such high fidelity.
...but yeah, many changes to the story really do make me roll my eyes. But again, it's not worth getting upset about.
