Its pretty active but not as active as PS3 due to Ultra. The problems you brought up are on the PC version as well though.

Harada will be there - maybe some tidbit on Tekken X SF still being in the works, maybe something more concrete than that is possible.

And with SNKP as a sponsor, I'm not entirely giving up on the possibility of something about a new game, though odds are the company can barely afford to have a single representative there. If they do, I hope they'll make the best of it.

Even the 20 second joining session glitch? That seems to be very common since Ultra was released. Rarely had it happen in the last 3 or so years I've been on PSN.

edit: in the 5 minutes since posting this I've had it happen 3 times with 3 different people :\

Shame about the connections though. Figured there might be more luck finding better connections on PC.

Yeah, the 20 second joining glitch has happened to me a few times. Also the connections are okay. The switch from GFWL to Steamworks caused some issues with connections. Its better now then it was before but still not great.

Infiltration, Xian, Tokido, Dieminion, and Xiaohai are all in Block A lol (not to mention a ton of other people!). Of course, once you divide the pools into fourths in a tournament as stacked as EVO, every block will look dangerous (Justin, Daigo, and Ricky are all in Block D), but Block A seems especially bad :V. This doesn't even count a ton of the potential upsets from some of the less renown players!

The way he organized the list makes it really easy to make fantasy brackets too lol. I'm almost thinking about doing it but I don't have the time.

Ky and May's are the two stand out tracks imo, Millia's is pretty good as well. Those 3 I like as much as their originals... After that it doesn't stand up well to the older stuff, also not as good as Blazblue....

Some of the tracks I think I'll like after I play some matches to them. Some are like that while others are readily enjoyable on their own imo.

Heihachi is a peculiar one that is for sure but he's also a legitimate bad ass (although clearly psychotic as well). The CG intro to Tekken 5 should be all the evidence you need.

That guy who made the post exaggerated everything. People give Jin a hard time but he's bad ass in his own right, he won the most King of Iron Fist tournaments. Of course he has bull shit devil genes but he still has to fight other ancient demons/monsters and crazy robots/cyborgs plus Kazuya to win it.


And yea I stopped following the "story" after Tekken 5. Not that it was ever that good but after that it just stopped even trying after that. It just got more convoluted and weirder after that (Heihachi has a bastard son all along! Da plot twist!).

It was until around Tekken 3/4.

Although in Tekken 5 Kazuya basically just left Heihachi for dead as well. The method of kill attempts have changed but it's still the same shit... the Mishimas try to kill each other along with other characters who are trying to do something similar as well.


Also I can't be the only one who still wants to know who Steve's father is... I bet that Dr. B is his real dad! (OMG SHYMALAN TWIST!)

Should be the same as last year, but still waiting for them to make the actual announcement on the stream details which I'm sure we'll get soon.

Iirc, when Heihachi runs the Mishima Zaibatsu he uses the company for good, like building schools and other philanthropic things. He is still an asshole though and he still pulls some messed up shit, but he doesn't use the companies resources to do them. He does have a tekken force, but he doesn't seem to do much with them aside from protecting his properties.

In contrast, when Kazuya has the Zaibatsu he experimented on animals and hired previous Tekken fighters to be his personal assassins to kidnap doctors and shit.

And Jin decided to cause an entire world war when he was in control of the Zaibatsu. SMH
