Really? I have no memory of it, really I feel like 7 has the side stuff people talk about, but that's unfair because 7 is much more popular.
Outside of the ps1 trilogy what other games did good side stuff?
XII has some good side stuff

OK, I've done a comparison with the PS1 version emulated at the same resolution as those screenshots. Nice to see that it's not just the main party members that get updated models.
He's right. The side content in FFIX in incredible.
Beginning with Chocobo's forest.
It all unlocks so much extra stuff in the game and links together very nicely.
Yeah, normally I'd certainly prefer the less pixellated version, but some of them are so blurry they give me a headache...Character models and textures are definitely an improvement, but I'm not sure if I prefer the backgrounds filtered or not.
Steam remains THE platform for JRPG fans.

This is from Final Fantasy IX artist Issun Kang, and shows some of the environments created for Final Fantasy IX's CG cutscenes rendered at 720p with fantastic clarity. A considerable amount of this detail was lost during the compression needed to get the CG working on the PSX.
Two if you count the Friendly Yan.
I'd say Tantarian (Alexandria library book fight) fits the bill for a fourth extra super boss IMO. I've gotten wrecked so many times by that.Three, if you want to steal the Fairy Flute off Shrek.
Yeah cause clearly a game that came out 15 years ago is the same as a 2 years old game.
Clearly.
Sigh.

Wish this was coming to PS4.
Do we know the system requirements for it? I'm bad with computer.
Wish it was Steam Play. I only have a Mac right now.

Thanks! I think I meet the minimum.
Core 2 Duo 2.53ghz
4GB RAM
GeForce 9600M GS
But I think I'll wait for a hopeful PS4 version so that I don't make any compromises. My processor ain't exactly an i5.
I don't get it. They make the first port of this game ever, and once again they are lazy and incompetent. How hard would it be to spend some time with a team of artists to draw over the old backgrounds in true high resolution?
Don't look at the brand, look at the ghz.
Your PC will do just fine.
lol, your understanding of this is a bit....weak. It would take a lot, actually.
Oh, really? OK, thanks. I'm new to all this; even this 2009 laptop I own now is like a Christmas miracle of technology to me.
Seriously? No. You just press Sharpen and it's done.
Yeah i cant tell if this is sarcasm or not.

Steam offers refunds these days, so even if you do find that the game doesn't run well enough, you can get your money back.
