It honestly wouldn't be surprising if this pops up on PC soon. SE are putting a few of their games there recently. Plus porting the PS4 release to PC should be simple compared to PS3/Vita -> PC.

This is probably just to get a few extra sales from X HD. They're probably planning to announce XII HD this year to release next year to tie in with FFXII's 10th anniversary.

Bayo 2 reaction is the reason this rule exists.

Soundtrack toggle + basically having a Vita version included (should I ever get a Vita) = insta-buy/triple-dip.

(Also, glad I held off on KH 2.5. The KH remasters just HAVE to be coming to the PS4 now, right?)


Lots of questions:

Load-times on this should be improved vs. the PS3 version, right? Totally hated that with the PS3 Square remasters.

Or were the load times fine on PS3 if you bought/installed a digital copy of the game?

Load times will be automatically improved by being on the PS4 owing to the SATA II connection.

Disc/digital doesn't matter, the whole game is installed to the HDD. Discs are just delivery vessels and authenticators nowadays.

NA, usually don't get these anymore. Only one I know of that comes out soon is Type-0, but you have to buy the $99 CE. I hate it, I think steelbooks would make awesome preorder bonus.

I'd love this, particularly if it finally gets the NA release the Zodiac Job System. Granted, I have a PC fully capable of emulating the game to hell and back, but it would be nice to not have to mess with that or patching the ISOs to get the ZJS into the English version of the game. (Yes, the steelbook of the original release is awesome - I will never part with it).

Also, despite protestations to the contrary, what I've heard of the remastered X HD soundtrack I like better than the original - sue me.
