Wow, I had heard people complaining about the remastered tracks (never felt the need to buy a new version of a game I already own), but I didn't realize it was this bad.

That's fucking criminal. The original Besaid Island is such a beautiful piece of music. I can't believe they butchered it like that.

I like owning the best possible version of things.

Whether that means buying LOTR/Star Wars DVDs/Blu rays 5 times or a 4th release of a video game, I will not be denied my definitive copy!

I bought the game on PS3, then my PS3 broke. I then bought the digital version for Vita when it was on sale, but my sister borrowed the Vita awhile back and hasn't yet returned it.

I feel silly for having already spent $70 on this, but I'll probably triple dip on PS4 when it drops in price.

Yea I mean, I'd never triple or quadruple dip on a game no matter how good it is, that's just me though.

Fortunately I played very little of FFX and haven't played FFX-2 at all so...this is pretty exciting.

Same. There are some remastered tunes that I really do not like at all, such as Besaid Island's theme. But there is a good handful of tracks where I preferred the remastered tracks. Would probably be too much work to do something like that though.
