"It's because you have a game running. Turn the game off and the glitch goes away. It's because the menu and the game are running at different resolutions."

I saw the bulk of the flickering when I was switching between SFV and the XMB menu. Don't those both run at 1080p?

It's actually been happening to my friend and me since before 4.0. We even saw a thread on Reddit about it before the patch as well.

You are right, I actually remember reading that thread now that you mentioned it.

Same issue for me too on my main PS4, haven't checked our secondary one yet. Pretty sure it coincided with the latest firmware update. I believe I'm only seeing it when I'm anywhere in the home/system menus and I only ever use the default theme. Thankfully it hasn't appeared during games, but I sure hope it's fixed soon.

I thought themes played a part in this but based on some comments maybe not. I do know that in my case I will always have this issue with some themes but never with others. Hmm, curious stuff.
