If the Wii version is the SNES one then the PSN version has the anime cutscenes.

Nice enough to offer the codes, stupid enough to do it in a manner that could easily be abused. They could have at the very least put an IP check on there and limited it to one voucher activation per PS3.

Wii version is better for sure, the cutscenes in the PS1 version aren't worth the loading times it adds all over the place. If you really want to see the cutscenes they are all on youtube anyway.

I really don't understand why they do this. I'd have little problem using their services but they are so ass backwards. It's so inconvenient.

When it's actually easier to use a competitor's service ON YOUR OWN DAMN HARDWARE there is a big problem.

It gives you the option right above "Download in the background", but if you do, it immediately starts your 24 hour rental period and considering how shitty and slow the server was going (it hit 10% at about the 2 hour mark) I wasn't going to take that chance.

It took less than 24 hours to get mine. Maybe they ran out of codes but the promotion is supposed to last for a while so they might be able to generate some more or something.

They are limited so maybe they did run out or the service is taking a hit and maybe the emails are sent out in waves?

This has been spread on major sites like SD. SD tends to kill these promos so I don't really know if they are out or just taking some time to send all the emails.

You can redeem codes using the http://www.qriocity.com/gb/en/ account management. So it should be fine using that.
