DrForester do you have a say on which times I should use in the table for Microsoft and Sony any more? It was your post that originally made me change it back to the o'clock times, but I realise now that your response may have been actually supporting the change inan ambiguous way...

I think you should just put in the time the Press guys go in. They usually start blogging right away. Leave it for the guys making the big threads to make a note saying what time they say the show actually starts.

OK, well that makes the votes for either side even, so with my deciding vote it's staying like it is for now, unless we get a lot more votes to change it back.

I'm kind of pissed off at Sony for running their conference at a later time this year as I'll end up missing out as a result. :\

Hopefully it will be broadcast a second time across various sites. I'd like to avoid being spoiled, though, as part of the fun is seeing things for the first time.

I was a bit worried that I'd miss the Nintendo conference because I have an interview on the 9th. For some reason that was the date stuck in my head. Thank goodness my mind was just playing tricks on me and it's the 8th.

Don't forget to watch, GAF!

Wow, E3 sure has crept up on me this year. I didn’t even realize it was so soon!

I’m gonna try and get some days off work...E3 on here is too much fun to miss!

E3 on EA.com
E3 is coming to EA.com, and this year we'll be bringing you more in-depth E3 coverage and exclusive content than ever before.

The centerpiece of our coverage will be a series of twelve live broadcasts with the lead producers, writers, and developers of the our top franchises including Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3, and Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Participants will see live demos, ask questions, and may even have a chance to win some swag, as they get an in-depth look at EA’s most anticipated titles. We guarantee not only the deepest coverage, but also an exclusive “micro-reveal” from each title during these live events.

In addition, EA.com will be posting news and videos from the conference, live blogging, and making ample use of Facebook and Twitter.

The coverage begins Monday June 6th with a live stream of the EA Press Conference at 12:30 PT.

I'm sure it's been asked and answered already, but is G4 going to show the Conference's live and commercial free again like they did last year?

I'm the opposite lol

Normally I req the day off because they run at like 12-2pm EST. Not only do I work early that day (will sadly miss the MSFT brief) but I get to watch the Sony presser in prime time and I have the next day off. I'm anticipating Nintendo's briefing as well. It works out perfectly without me having to try and manage time. I remember 3 or 4 years ago I had to leave to get my son from school and was all mad cause I missed like 20 minutes of the show. No biggy but I do love the spectacle of these conferences.

Wondering what's next for @Insomniacgames? Don't miss the EA E3 briefing live this Monday on Spike for the big reveal! 3:30p ET/12:30p PT

Oh wow. I was thinking they weren't going to show the new IP since they still have R3 and All 4 One upcoming. That's a surprise. Looking forward to seeing what it is.

Please have nothing to do with guns.

I hear you, I may not be able to catch it then too. I'll have to go on a media blackout until I can watch it as I feel the same way.

Just noticed last night that Spike would have TV coverage of EA's press conference and not G4

Now if only Spike could obtain coverage of all the other pressers for next year
Except for Ubisoft. G4 can keep that

I'm hyped :) Just realized I still somehow have G4 despite the fact that I thought Verizon dropped it a whiiiiile back, so I won't have to worry about streaming or anything :)

I don't know why but I didn't realize the Sony and MS ones are tomorrow. I figured tuesday or wednesday for whatever reason. I have class during the MS one though, I should be home for the sony though. I always feel overwhelmed coming home to 284 news stories.

Just curious, but last year seems like I had a great Twitter feed set of sources for info on E3, but can't seem to find a thread like it this year. Am I just missing it or does it not exist?

The sticky says "Please also link to the threads discussing each news item that was relevant enough to get its own thread."
And you can see it in action here: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=432184

Hopefully the other thread starters do a good job of linking to all the threads created.

Will the conference start at 5PM in the UK due to DST? I'm pretty sure it will.

Yup, WEST/BST (+1) is the time we UK'ers should be looking at. (BST= British Summer Time)

Sony's presser is at 3AM for me, I don't think I'll bother. It'll be the first in a few years I'll miss. Oh well, won't spoil the Uncharted 3 campaign footage for myself then.

I'm gonna sleep early on Tuesday and wake up at 1:00 to watch Sony conference.
I have a science GCSE exam at 13:15.

Monday, June 6, 2011

Microsoft: 9AM to 11AM PST
EA: 12:30PM to 1:30PM PST
Ubisoft: 2:30PM to 3:30PM PST
Sony: 5PM to 6:30PM PST

Tuesday, June 7, 2011

Nintendo: 9AM - 10AM PST

Awesome, thanks for clarifying!

So Microsoft will have the longest conference? Don't they usually do a 1:30 press conference? Sony who usually have the longest press conference cut it by half an hour and Nintendo... WTF? an hour press conference? I.. what?

Son you should be able to destroy that shit with zero hours of sleep.

EDIT: And yeah Nintendo's is quite short but they almost always over-run, not too worried.

1 hour seems short for all the content Nintendo's supposed to show but it might be just fine, as long as the conference doesn't drag on. On the other hand, imagine a 2 hour Microsoft conference with mainly Kinect games...
