Nas set to be #1 at 120k next week.

in these days and times that's pretty good.

Isn't it amazing that 10 years ago almost every freaking NL album went at least gold?

Blackace presents (always important to get your name in)..something something.

New track from Krizzle's Alumni buddy Big Sant also produced by K.R.I.T.

Big Sant - 2 Much

Killa Kyleon going the fuck in, in a new video apparently off of some upcoming project he's got coming out called T.R.I.L.L. Dunno if anyone here fucks with Killa but you definitely should, his joint project with Mouse On Tha Track this year was real good.

Killa Kyleon - Appetite For Destruction

Also another posthumous duo mixtape featuring Slim Dunkin. SQUAD.

Slim Dunkin & D-Bo - Block Illegal 2

I am looking forward to Big Sant's album. Heard some of his features and he sounds hungry. I likes it.

Killa is good too. Check out his mixtape "Candy Paint and Texas Plates 2" if you want to get a taste of what he is all about.

Listening to Lil B on shuffle...

He's sorta perfected trap music in his own weird way. And the rap game definitely picks up some of the shit he does but they sorta mainstream it.

Triple Six Mafia - Underground Vol. 1: 1991-1994 (Full Compilation) (1999)

One of Triple 6's best albums. Check it out if you've never given this style a true listen.

why do i leave them suffering, lying there to die?

Also the newest mix had some issues that I figured out... So updating it right now.. :(

Been a stupid process but should be all good in about 25 mins!

Okay, so I'm ready, Gaf-Hop. I'm ready to start listening to hip-hop and rap again, at least new stuff I mean. I just got burnt the fuck out on what everyone was listening to. I can't stand Wayne, Drake, Wiz, or Mack Miller.

Is there a good place to start back up again? I listened to KRIT's newest mixtape, and loved it, but other than that I haven't listened to shit really besides occasional hearing shit on the radio.

Shit, can't believe I forgot Dre and Nas. Have listened to all of Dre's stuff of course. I never really listened much to anything after Illmatic because I was a Jay guy.

I have heard a lot of stuff from the others, but I will give it all a listen. Will give those Nas albums a listen too. Thanks man.

? Just because I don't like him doesn't mean I can't tell he is a decent artist that appeals to certain people..

That's what being a DJ is..

Exactly, he appeals to a very specific group of people, like deaf people.

Hey Gaf-Hop...just a shout out to all you guys because I love you.
Middle class white kid from the suburbs of Ontario, so it's obvious that hip-hop is the bread and butter of music for me, it's what I grew up with and still at 27 the music I love the most.

Anyways, came home pretty drunk tonite and decided it had been too long since I had listened to one of the best hip-hop albums of all time.

I'm talking about this album right here...I got so many of my metal/punk/hardcore friends to reluctantly admit they loved rap after listening to it.

Absolutely amazing album, got me into Aussie hip hop, which opened a door to an amazing selection of real, down to earth and old (new) school rap music. Every track is a fuckin banger with the most amazing production that bridges modern music with incredible classic instrumentals.
