There aren't a thousand blades. There aren't even two hundred. I've counted.
Since "The Bear & The Maiden Fair" just popped up on Spotify... can we talk about how fucking weird the credit song of S3E3 was?!
Terrible. It removes you from the shock caused by the final scene and you find yourself distracted by how out of place the song is.
Usually the credit songs are great, if not down right amazing(The Rains of Castamere after Blackwater for example.) They would have been better off getting that Bolton bannerman with the angelic voice to do his version

In every way.Terrible.
yeah but I think their argument was that it's supposed to be kinda jarring, to match the moment. I think it was a terrible decision as well, but I can see why they made it.
Also, now that we know the story of the Lannister song, in retrospect, doesn't that guy have huge balls for maiming Jaime?! Tywin is an intense sonofabitch who kills whole families and you go and chop his son's hand off?! Man.
Pretty sure he never described the thrown like that in the books...this is what martin sees when he pictures the throne in his head
infinitely more bad ass than what we have i must say

This was actually Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol singing in a cameo role.
Mind blown. I would never have guessed that.
So, excluding Baelor, Blackwater, and The Rains of Castamere( too easy), what are your favorite episodes?
Top 6:
-The Wolf and the Lion
-The Golden Crown
-Fire And Blood
-And So His Watch Has Ended
-Kissed By Fire
-The North Remembers
This is bothering me.
They need to get that dog away from that boy before he fucking eats it raw...
But the actor is apparently super nice....?
They were talking about the dog, it's fucking evil!
Heads up: with Comic-Con approaching you guys will want to be wary of spoilers. I'm especially concerned that the panel might lead to a specific spoiler, thanks to assholes in the crowd. So yea, you might want to wait for us to watch it lol.
Yes, if only because everywhere else in gaf is slightly more spoilery.Aria and Sansa present...VINECEPTION.
Anyway, is this still the to-go thread for non-spoilery thangs regarding S4?
Hodor!
translated: i watched all 3 seasons in about 2 weeks and i can't wait for season 4.
I watched them in 6 days. I beat you.
Is it recommendable to start reading one of the books now? Consider I didn't know anything about GoT until I saw the series. I'm asking because I know several things were changed from the books.
If you think it would be appropriate to read a book, please tell me which one!
If you want to read, start from the beginning.
It seems like I'm in for something big, then. We're at 7 books now, right?
