Games That Did Not Deserve To Be Forgotten

RFxli.jpg
Ahh Winback. The game was awesome on N64 and even better on PS2. The multiplayer was such a blast. I had such a fine time playing this. There was a sequel iirc. Don't think I ever played it though. If this came back I'd support it.

This.

Such a shame that the PSP remake got canned...
I don't know about the PSP remake, to be honest. It looked okay, but the music sounded like a shitty and boring rearrangement of the original overworld theme, and it just felt low-budget all-around. A real remake needs to bring Landstalker into 3D, with the mechanics translated over as well (including multiple camera options).

The Cliffhanger- Edward Randy

Insane 2D setpiece craziness, never released outside Japan, never ported to any home console
Yeah—but at least it has an article on Hardcore Gaming 101, and people talk about it's outlandishness every now and then. The one other crazy fin-de-seicle game that Data East made around that time never gets any attention, except from me apparently (and another indie game musician who I can't remember at the moment—introduced me to the game at the first ScrewAttack con).

The game's called Boogie Wings, bitches. And it's got rolling ferris wheels and heavy-metal Coney Island disco palaces. Play it.

You think that's obscure? Just wait until you play ZOOM's Sharp X68000 original!

One of the best games on the PS2, forgotten too fast as it did not run on all PS2 systems, primarily the PHATs, must be played, I'd even say it's a tad better than Final Fantasy XII (my fav ps2 game).

I'm currently rekindling my love for this game, and its even better than I had remembered. Especially since I never got very good at it when I first played

Jet Moto/Rider: Awesome racer. I'd love to see a new one with the Motorstorm engine. Sony doesn't care about it anymore...

Eretzvaju/Evil Zone: Two button fighter full of awesomeness. Very fun to play and the music is fantastic. Completely forgotten :(

Pulseman deserved more than just one game.
We got Drill Dozer, admittedly, though it's a bit tame compared to Pulseman. I hope that Ken Sugimori gets to direct another of his unique platformer games in the future, because Game Freak's gradually increasing in developer count and leadership stability.

Props for The Outfoxies!
SSBM is better.

My first twin stick, XY axis FPS. I played this so much when it first came out. Me and my best friend spend 3 summers on his couch playing this, and then eventually Red Faction 2.

To date has my favorite multiplayer map: Warlords.

Played the bejezus out of these games a few years ago:

i played this game enthusiastically until the sequence where you had to escape through the ceiling of the elevator whilst being shot at. shit was so difficult/aggravating that i don't know if i ever got past it, or just quit once i had lucked my way through.

Absolutely amazing soundtrack. One of the best, and most criminally underrated VG soundtracks I will ever remember. If only the gameplay was a notch better and the dungeons weren't bland as all hell and go on forever. Would have been an absolute rpg classic. But I still love it to death flaws and all.

And just look at this game, it was freakin' gorgeous!

Pirates: The Legend of Black Kat for PS2 is my most favorite of barely known games. Still haven't found anyone who's played it. I'm sure someone on here has, though.

I did. Actually rebought it for $3 from the GS bargain bin. Black Kat deserves better.

If it's better than your favorite game then it's your favorite game.
