We had a games room at the university I went to with a bunch of different consoles and PCs to play whatever games we wanted. Every time I went in there and I couldn't get the 360 was because some guy was playing Project Slypheed on it. I swear he played that game for several months in a row and never got bored.
I like a lot of games, but some I just can't be bothered with for a variety of reasons. A bunch of the games I listed I got from bundles so I didn't really buy all of them specifically because I was really all that interested in playing them in the first place. For a couple of dollars they're worth trying out at least. Considering the amount of games I still have in my backlog I often just play games for a short while and if they don't grab my attention in any sort of way I just move on to the next game. It can also just be that I dislike certain things about a game and I just kinda stop playing it.Do you just...not like gaming? I'm asking that honestly, as just about every genre is represented on that list, and most of the games on it are, at the very least, fairly good.
Banjo Nutts and Bolts: I love Banjo more than life. Building is my least favorite thing unless it's not required. In Nuts and Bolts I created so many failed contraptions that fall over, have poor controls. Designing with a game controller is not possible. You need a mouse or touch screen. The idea might work today if they fix the controls and use smart glass. Trying online player vehicles is a shot in the dark. Reviews would be bennificial because I'd gladly rate a low if the handling was off. It this games case, everything felt slippery. Also, Banjo looks like crap. Why did they perfect him on the n64 then redesign his look to an abomination?
Final Fantasy XII. Fuck the License Board, Gambits, those horribly boring characters (Balthier and maybe Fran excepted), that awfully bland world with its endless wasteland-ish deserts (at least toward the beginning), that forgettable soundtrack, that obvious and tired Star Wars inspiration, the lack of focus stemming from the aimless wandering/open-world exploration... all of it. What a thoroughly bland game.
Only offline FF game I've given up on. I had to. I was bored to tears.
What system did you play it on? Both the PS2/3 and Wii controls were fine by me.
On topic, I don't really like saying that I've completely given up on a game because I try to beat everything I buy. But I apparently have only played Dead Island for 24 minutes and I have almost zero interest in playing it again. I honestly don't remember why I bought it.
This.
They always get a pass from reviewers on this. It is quite nauseating. The controls suck bad.
^ reminds me
mGS snake eater. Outdated controls I'll it for me. Can't beat the bosses because I'm programmed to use left trigger to aim and right trigger to shoot.
Far cry 3 for the same reason.
Man... I suffered 60+ hours through that crap. Why.
Tales of Xillia 2
I'm not doing that final dungeon.
