Such things do not happen because you say " ok guys time to make good gifs now" they are effect of community interaction, flame wars, heated debates. When i posted one of the most famous gifs from that thread in previous post you say it was not attack gif but hype gif. No it was gif specifically to attack Xbox made by some fanboy as 100s of others that internet lived for good months if not years. Those gifs are still used till this day. Again read the thread and maybe you will understand part of history about Neogaf and what made it so special to so many people.

I specifically went into that thread to ask how should spoilers be handled when you have old game FF7 and Aerith dying is literally gaming history trivia at level of mario wearing red cap. I was banned and didn't even know why because it made logical sense to ask about spoilers in thread where rules about spoliers are being made. I am here since ~circa2005 and i perfectly know what you are talking about because i took part in discussion about when neogaf was restarted about mod policy, i proposed with few people that there should be politics forum to move people from offtopp who want to talk about politics and leave politics out of offtop.
