I've had this new laptop for an hour (for presentations, meetings, class, etc) and CHEEZMO already got porn in my internet history.

God damn it >_>

(I'm sorry for the facebook status-like post, I just want to steer away from the drama. Even if the drama is completely hilarious and my popcorn's already in the microwave.)

Also, 5MPH under the speed limit? You don't know me at all, I go 10+ over the "speed limit". And yes, I am making friends on Grindr, people I can talk to and understand what I am going through. One of those friends is coming with me and Rafa to Japan fest this weekend so we'll have fun. :)

I'm not the guy that is the source of incessant derailment in this thread for numerous pages spanning weeks, annoying the hell out of a bunch of people on a frequent basis. I'll take my moment of being a jerk if it'll get him to think even a little bit about why he's pissing people off instead of dismissively assuming it's everyone else being mean because they're just mean.

Actually, what you're arguing doesn't make sense. I am not stating that my analogy was inaccurate, only that it doesn't relate perfectly with all particulars. And analogies don't have to. By definition, only some of the particulars, not all, need to be similar. Considering the responses so far, I'd say that your suggestion of my analogy's lack of use is pretty far off. Singling out one particular and disregarding the entire analogy because of it is ludicrous.

So, in your opinion, it's all Scott's fault? No one else is to blame?

I haven't had one although I've been chasing one guy for a while but I just don't think it will ever happen. (everyone here knows and is annoyed by it already) I am seeing another guy right now who is much older than me, but he is really sweet to me so we are just gonna get to know each other better first and see where it goes.

At least you have been in one before so you know what to expect I guess. I wish you luck :)

I think a lot of the hate Scott gets is because he is going on dates with people IRL which a lot of the haters seem not to be doing.

Also that analogy with the 5mph below the limit is nice, but I don't see any thing that could ressemble oncoming traffic here. You have an ignore function, you can simply not react to any of Scott's post and the thread can continue being filled with status posts and gifs.
