If the community embraces it instead of Java it's definitely gonna be tons easier to develop apps in a few months. If it's ignored I don't think it will.

Languages aren't the biggest issue with app development.
It's already embraced by the community I'd say

So happy. All it needs is some decent games and we're cooking with gas.
On Android though? At least, people are excited about but it's still gonna be a wait and see kind of deal imo. We need people to release good libraries in Kotlin and drop Java for this to matter.

If they nail this VPS stuff... Imagine being in a park that's fully mapped, and you ask it to find you sunflowers, and then it overlays a quest market and path to the sunflowers - because it can recognize sunflowers in pictures and knows where you are.

Lots of other companies are working on significantly better AR/MR headsets than glass - they've even invested hundreds of millions into one.

I;m downloading too. Usually their beta's are pretty stable. Some issues with apps somewhere, but in general it works fine.

Downloading on my Pixel now. I installed the N preview during last year's I/O and I could count the number of bugs I experienced over the summer on one hand.
