i know this has probably been asked a million times, but how does one with a google+ account invite someone (other than the circles message loophole)? where do we find the option to send an invite?

If you share to a circle that included people not currently in G+, it will give you the option to send an email with the content/invite.

i've tried doing that with 4 people and it hasn't sent them anything. i assumed it was blocked now.

A couple of things at play. It's not guaranteed to work, and gmail addresses will get a delayed email until invites do open up. Any other address domain will get the email instantly, but the chances of it being open to sign up are random.

You know what's funny. I mentioned this to the person that invited me but I never actually got an email or anything, I just went to plus.google.com and there it was allowing me to register. Could it be a massive coincidence that they just so happened to open up registration for a brief couple of seconds a little bit after the person invited me? Or are they connected despite the fact that I never got an email.

Weird.

Would like an invitation. Just created a Linkedin profile in addition to my Facebook and Twitter pages. Looking to expand my network. Thank you!

PS- I think I'm the only person using Google Buzz.

So what is this loop hole? How do you do it?

you can share something with emails from non members. those said emails will then receive an invitation to comment on the share. from there you can sign up for google+.

google caught on though and disabled this method. sending the invite email still works but it will take hella long to process and in the end, you won't be able to sign up...

I humbly request an invite to this Google+ service. I really want to try the app that lets my automatically upload my pictures when I take them. Much obliged in advance.

I will invite any person who PM's me the correct answer to any of these questions with their gmail:

- Where did the Ferrari "Prancing Horse" logo really come from? (Note wikipedia will not help you, perhaps you should dig deeper)

- What special tradition happens to every BMW before it comes off the line?

- Question erased because it was too easy...

- Which car company has made every single one of its cars out of carbon fiber?

- What car's braking force is equivalent to that of the Bugatti Veyron's airbrake?

- Only one car looks like it has a pair of balls for exhausts. What car is this?

- What do the Scottish Highlands and Gran Turismo have in common?

- If you were to walk into the Ferrari factory in Maranello you would expect to see a lot of red, but in fact you would see a lot of green. Why?

- What was the fastest car to ever lap the Top Gear Test Track?

Good luck... lol.

PM me if you want an invite with your email and I throw you one, but from inviting a few friends it the email for the invite can be delayed.

Turns out this "loophole" we've been using to get people in was never actually a loophole after all:

Evening wonderful Google+ people! I'm starting to see a meme developing that there is a "backdoor" that skirts the invite system if you share to people who aren't using Google+ yet. That's actually not a backdoor, it's a feature. :)

We know that not everyone you want to share with is using Google+ yet and that perhaps your Grandma may be too busy playing Angry Birds on her iPad to ever join any social site. We allow you to easily share content to these folks via email, and in that email is an invitation to see your content and sign up if they want.

Well, that is the case when we are accepting new users. These invitations, like the more obvious kind, are all subject to our super secret formulas, mind numbingly complex algorithms (and nice guy named Brian who is watching a lot of graphs).

We are extremely proud of this product and want to grow it thoughtfully during its Field Trial, so thanks for your patience.

So, if you're not getting in through this method, it's not because Google has blocked the "exploit" (it isn't one), but because they're simply not letting any more people in right now.

So I got my invite a couple of days ago and it isn't working yet. Any updates as to when more will be allowed in ?

Nah, they're not saying anything specific about that. It does, however, seem like they might be letting people in depending on where they live. People from some countries seem to be getting in while others don't. Or maybe it's just a random pick of Google accounts that are allowed to register, who knows.

I fully expect the flood gates to open during work hours. Since that's usually the time people use Facebook the most. =D

It's kinda obvious that it's not a loophole.

It's just that people though that they should've disabled it since it's in field trial and normal invites are closed...

I got my invite yesterday but it was only by chance I found out. Someone posted a google+ link in another thread and I successfully tried to log in with my google account. Never got the invitation by email.
