Guys I am pretty certain after receiving an invite, it activates your email to be able to login under any plus.google.com page.

I could be wrong, but I clicked a random link going to plus page, and I created my account.

But like I said, I have people slowly adding me on G+, so I think they're easing through the queue, instead of shutting registrations off completely.

Like I said in the other thread, it's important they keep a constant stream of people onto the site, early impressions count for a lot and if you manage to get on and none of your friends can, then it's probably going to be disappointing! Not to mention there's lots of hype right now and Google would probably do well to capitalise on that.

Apologies if this was addressed already, but the only link in the e-mail I can click on is to "Learn more about Google+". Was my GMail account automatically enabled for Google+ or is there something else I need to do? I have noticed that I am now able to create a Google Profile, but I'm not sure if that was always there or if it's even a part of Google+.

I'm just a bit confused about this at the moment. Any info is appreciated, thanks!

So I have the invite page open still, but Windows gave me the restart to install updates prompt. I'm gonna go to bed soon, and I set it to a 4 hour reminder, how can I disable this so I can still send invites after I wake up? :_\

i usually tell it to postpone for 4 hours then put the computer into hibernate

It should just ask you again in 4 hours.

I don't think it actually resets your computer unless you click 'reset'. I'm not 100% though.

People at work have had success by continuing to F5 the main google plus page. Eventually they get lucky and it lets the register. Possibly out of pity. Have had about five work colleagues have this happen to them, so give it a shot.

In XP, it used to force reboot, but if you have Windows 7, you should be okay to leave it open - I have had a machine in that state for around 3 days once, I just used to click postpone, 4 hours every time I woke up....

Apparently you can get in instantly (sign up page) if you add them to a circle and share something. I've tried it with a spare gmail account and I'm not sure if I can trust the result.
