PS3 version for me, all previous versions I had on the PC. But in the age of HDTVs playing this game on a lazy couch with wireless gamepad on a large screen is far more appealing to me.
Of course I don't have a 360 anymore, but if I did the 360 version must be very much superior for me to consider it due to past issues with disc scratching and RRoD. But it's stated not to be the case, the PS3 version is even said to offer better graphics. *** The 360 drive noise always annoyed me, but even more so my girlfriend as once she felt asleep while watching a movie and I put on my headphones to play and the extreme 360 drive startup noise woke her up... So not really an option in such a situation.
When we first bought a 360 we weren't really aware of additional costs for playing online, luckily Kameo and DOA4 offered great off-line mutliplayer. I only got a 1 month free Live Gold membership later on with Gears of War and IMO it wasn't worth the hassle nor costs especially from a long term perspective (multiplayer on PC or PS3 does not include additional costs). Thus I believe the PS3 GTA IV online community will be larger worldwide, especially here in Europe.
The non-free downloadable epsisodes nobody knows anything about yet is IMO still a fully unknown factor. About just as much GTA IV's free Playstation Home integration and features, which is pretty much close to nothing as well.
And will I even complete GTA IV? I haven't completed San Andreas (although part of the reason is that my PC harddrive crashed at one point and I stopped playing the game) nor GTA III! Will I feel the need for additional content or will I eventually play it every once in a while just to create havoc having SWAT teams and helicopters chasing after me or play online and meanwhile try to finish some other games like Resistance 2 or Killzone 2 instead? What about GTA V, it's almost sure to arrive for the PS3, but may not come out for the 360 due to technical limitations (GTA4 pushes the 360 to its max like Gears 2 will, and there are DVD storage and having no default harddrive related limitations), this and other factors like high profile PS2 exclusives (God of War, Jak & Daxter, Getaway, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, Twisted Metal, etc, etc) confirmed for the PS3 exclusively, IMO makes this game more a PS3 hardware seller than a 360 hardware seller for PS2 GTA fans.

"Take-Two also said that both the 360 and PS3 version of the game be visually almost identical, with the PS3 coming out slightly on top in some areas." source
"The PS3 hard drive and CPU should deliver a smoother GTA IV than on Xbox 360, not least because of texture streaming. Less loading, more detail and vibrant colour palette should make PS3 GTA IV stand head and shoulders above the Xbox 360 version." source"
For the short run I think GTA IV will sell far more PS3 consoles than 360s, but will sell more copies overall on the 360 especially due sales in the States, but for the long run I expect the PS3 version to considerably outsell the 360 version, mainly due to Europe and to a lesser extend Japan sales, but also a rapid increase of the PS3 install base in the States.
