There were some theatre-goers at my IMAX preview who were really prepared when waiting in line. They brought their own poster tubes to put it in, and seemed rather upset at the size of their prize.

I was a bit disappointed at the size of the poster, but it wasn't a big deal in the end since it's all free and I got to see a bit of the movie.

Hard to be mad, really.

Damn, that sounds horrible. I think something happened with an IMAX showing of Iron Man 3 in my area when they were giving out posters, too.

If anything, I was surprised how orderly the preview was. It was managed like we were military recruits, even with the groups sitting in the middle of the hall with boxes of foreign pizza strewn around them. And, of course, the constant reminders that it was not, in fact, the entire movie we were going to see. Man, some of the conversations around me when the attendant yelled that at everyone who was in line... they were utterly astounded at this level of treachery.
