Happy Birthday PS Vita Sale

is Home A Unique Horror Adventure one directional cross-buy (only get the Vita version if you buy the PS4 version) or do you get the PS4 version if you buy the Vita one that's on sale?

Grabbed Hyperdemensions and Tales of Hearts. Haven't gotten into either series yet, so should be interesting.

Was tempted to pick up an Atelier as well, but my backlog is already in a sad enough state as is. Its not good when you begin to dread sales.

Even if you pass on the Atelier games, don't pass on their soundtracks, my man.

I followed your YT link to that users channel. I'm listening to the playlist in the background, good stuff.

.

Yeah. I have a huge backlog to play on Vita (PS1 through Vita). Sales don't help :(

I own Totori Plus so I plan on playing that. The love these games are getting has inspired me to re-install and play Totori all the way through this time. I'll get the other games at a later date, I know they rarely go on sale. But we're talking $32 for two games I won't play anytime soon. I rather put that money towards Hotline Miami 2, Axiom Verge etc.. I'll finish getting the collection someday for sure.

So who here ended up buying the physical copy of Tales of Hearts at GameStop for $30?

I checked my GameStop and stock was low everywhere so I jumped on it.

Btw you can get a physical copy on Bandai Namco website for $25 plus free amazon Prime shipping.

$5-10 isn't that much of a different tbh with the digital being $20.

You're missing out on the best of the 3 series.

I picked up SAO last night and realized I'm now down to $5.65 or so in my wallet. I only need the $.50 cents to get Valhalla Knights! Is there a way to only have that amount added, or can you "gift" PSN money to friends? I couldn't find the option for that on my VITA of PS4..

If you have PayPal or a credit/debit card tied to your account then you can just add what you need I think. Never tried $0.50 before. But I dont think an amount that small should be a problem.

Hmm, I wonder if I can link my Paypal. I will not link my CC online.. There's no option on the VITA menu's, do I have to do that through the website?

I've only played through Ayesha so far and what I've played of Rorona Plus so far doesn't really stack up to Ayesha yet.

I am enjoying the game but I dunno. The story events and so on in Ayesha came up a bit more naturally and exploration also was handled in a better manner in my opinion. If only battles in that game weren't so easy I'd say it was just all around better than my experience thus far.

From everything I've heard so far though, I think Totori will be the one I enjoy most of the Arland trilogy though. Time will tell.

But yes, Atelier is great.

I've purchased stuff for the exact price usually when I'm on the ps4 though. No odd amount added.

Still a $5 minimum to add funds to your wallet.

Gah.... I'm going to have $40 available on Friday... but I want $90 worth of stuff. If I beg my wife may give me another $40 for my gaming budget but I have a feeling it's going to end up costing me if you know what I mean... and it still wouldn't cover everything (and I'll likely sit out replaying Rorona, never played the plus version).

yeah, have fun with that. I have to launder my own money for gaming, lol.

Few Questions:

Is there a reason I should buy Neptunia if I already completed the original? I have mk2 and Victory but stuck on mk2 and the story hasn't interested me to keep playing. I kind of want to skip mk2 and just start Victory.

I'm definitely getting Rorona+ BUT. I started playing Totori+ first. Still in the beginning buy my current story progress is:
just got back to my home town after getting the license
. Should I pause from Totori and start Rorona? or Continue Totori, then Meruru, and travel back in time to Rorona?

Lastly, I'm contemplating on Deception IV. Currently watching a "Let's play" but wanted everyone else's opinion on the game.

I would just stop Totori where you are and play Rorona, then Totori, then Meruru...

The stories are very self contained even if they have lots of the same characters. You can easily play Rorona as a 'prequel' to Totori if you don't want to stop playing Totori.

Just keep playing Totori. Rorona is a remake from the original, and has some cameos from Totori and Meruru. I think it's best to lay it as a prequel to Totori after Totori and Meruru. But you can go both ways. Stories aren't really connected or anything.

Pass on Deception 4. I know there are a few who like it here. but the actual execution of the gameplay was annoying and frustrating.

I'm really tempted by COD:D. :O Is the campaign at least good or does it play as good as Killzone Mercenary?

Did you like spec ops missions in MW2/3? If you did, that's literally all the campaign is except with intro cutsenes and nothing else.

Unpopular opinion: I didn't find it that bad tbh but I didn't pay also didn't pay $50($10 deal at gamestop.com once) at launch like the people that hate it. For a game that's made in just a few months, it was somewhat decent minus the unbalanced op bouncing betties/launchers in mp and shrinking already tiny maps like nuketown to be even smaller.

Also for a game that's so hated, the multiplayer is still strangely active to this day. Least more active than current COD games on Wii U/PC

Weighing my options and trying to decide between Neptunia and SAO... I'm leaning Neptunia even though I didn't enjoy the first game (I heard rebirth is a lot better and I'm willing to give it another go). SAO sounds like it'd be the longer experience and enjoyable in it's own right... but I heard it has translation issues at times and I've never seen the anime.

Okay... Final list of damages...

Tales of Hearts R
Hatsune Miku
Deception IV
Neptunia

And rounding out my last few dollars...

Orgarhythm
Dracula Chronicles X

82.45, had 2.10 left over... so just over $80... and there goes my gaming budget for the next 2 months. Pre-marriage this would have been my spending for one week... ahh the perils of marriage and children.

+1 is glorious everywhere
especially Google Plus -crickets-

what about that Munch Oddysee game - surprised no one is saying anything
I really enjoyed it back in the early 2000's when it was an xbox exclusive. But if you're playing it for the first time now...ehh. Only if you're a big oddworld fan. Even then, its pretty different than the other entries in the series.

No, it's horrible.....

Guess I'll pass then. I really liked the COD campaigns, despite the games being hated and all that. :/

I appreciate the responses! I did hear about Rorona+ having cameos from Totori and Meruru as well. I may have to flip a coin on this.

Deception 4 seems to have a really interesting gameplay. I'm only afraid of the game becoming really repetitive. I may consider getting at a lower price when my backlog isn't as bad. =\

Was tough deciding which to go with. I read Atelier was very crafting oriented and had time limits which was a bit off putting, but based on the amount of love they receive I have to figure they're good games.

Will probably get to them eventually, but 2015 is already stacked with good games as is.

You're not missing out on much. The games are solid, but not amazing.

They are pretty good, but yeah, the time limitations cab really suck and cause you to miss a ton of events and often leave you under leveled for boss fights/events..

+1 it's good fun. As for controls, I honestly prefer them to the ones in Killzone.

On the euro store there are pretty crazy deals for the Danganrompa games (both at 19.99€), Killzone Mercenary (8.99€) and many others (Persona 4 Golden, Tearaway, Gravity Rush, Uncharted, MGS Collection, Rayman Origins, J&D and R&C collections....) basically the best games available for the system!
It lasts until the 5th of March.

What are the top 5 must haves in this list?

I am so far thinking of getting Monster Monpiece and Atelier Roronoa
