I'm in my 30s, I've never been overweight, most of my family is though, but I've been at an average weight (according to BMI) for as long as I have kept track. I got on the scale today and I am at 162. That is the highest I've ever seen. That puts my BMI at almost 24 points, 1 point away from being overweight. I guess I was wearing clothes so maybe that accounts for 1 lb. or so, but still, I never thought I'd be this close to overweight.
Just a few years ago (2020) I was at a time sub-140. Doing lots of cardio, and working out virtually daily. I want to get back to near that level again, but it seems like it will be a lot of work...
Anyone else here get on a scale and were surprised to see the result? I'm setting a goal for myself right now to get down to at least 150 by the end of the month.
