I wasn't sure if you really want to try this or was being sarcastic (in that case, I can handle the mocking) but here are a few shots I took so you can judge if this is an old man look or just something fun one can do once in their lifetime.
I personally don't think I look like I'm older or anything, but it could be that my brain is corrupted with anime and games.

Really, I'm just curious if it's hate against hair dying, against dying unnatural colors, against the anime/gaming influence, against any sort of coloring the body... I honestly wish hair dying (to unnatural colors; I know bottle blondes are a dime a dozen) was more acceptable, so I'm curious what people have against it.

I'd be a darn hypocrite if I said something negative about the OP's hair because I had my hair looking somewhat like this back in high school. It wasn't intentional; I just disliked cutting my hair and since I was Asian, I guess I kind of got away with it. You'll never catch me with my hair like this now since I think it looks kind of dumb but hey, more power to the OP if he likes his hair this way.

Thanks a lot for your comments (and everyone else being supportive). I definitely did not do this to please others. I really wanted this and am proud of it (it was going into the way of disaster). Though I really wanted to share my joy, it was not my intention to be grab attention as it may quite seem like that in hindsight. I know most of GAF probably wouldn't like it but I somehow imagined that some would, so yeah...

First, this is how my Rubik's Cube used to look like:

I've been building Rubik's Cubes for a long time, and I used to put pictures and stuff on all the sides. But I decided to stop that a while ago, so the last few years I had just my regular colored Rubik's Cube. I promised myself I wouldn't change it around unless it was going to be white. Well, somehow I got bored and started this project.

I'll spare you the greasy details of how it all happened. (Yeah, I know what you're thinking: Emo!)

Now the Cube is COOL AS HELL and super easy to solve. It really impresses people at the bar.

Mission Accomplished: Colored to White.

This is the final Rubik's Cube alteration of my life, so thank you for reading my story. I hope you enjoyed it and my apologies if I wasted your time, but I just felt like sharing.

Not sure about that since my face isn't like his, but when I walked into my room I looked exactly like Dante in this poster minus the clothes and sword. I thought it was kinda cool since I didn't know my hair in neutral was like his (when it was black I didn't notice).

I didn't care if it went green or blue (in Dante's poster his hair is a bit green, in Ivy's poster her hair is a bit blue), as long as I didn't have yellow since it's such an overused color. No, mine isn't bed head or just not doing anything with it. It's just bad. Currently about half my sides are caught in downward spirals chunks, about a 1/4 are straight, and the other 1/4 are puffing out. My hair 2 hours a shower will extend about a few inches to the sides. It will friz up if I comb it and look only worse :lol

I have more hairbands than girls do :lol

Considering what dye is doing to your scalp... yeah, if you do it a lot in a short span of time, it's gonna burn.

After I stopped dyeing regularly, I was bitching to my stylist about dandruff, which I'd never had problems with before, and he said it was related to the fact that I'd stopped regularly stripping my scalp. Can't recall the exact quote (defense against literal-GAF), but there you go.

I'm guessing GAF is predominately white (guessing from the Post New Pics thread) so the hate is understandable. This stuff isn't uncommon in Asia, and many "celebrities" and boy bands look far more feminine than the OP but that's what the fangirls love. I think you pull it off better than most. I really hope you're from Asia and not, say, the US or something. That shit would not fly here. :/

Bleaching it does. How badly it burns depends on how badly you do it. A lot of retail solutions are pretty easy on the scalp, until you hit and pass the "ok, wash it out now" point. The dye itself is just like... paint. Like shampoo paint.

Bleaching burns the more it's done (if you don't let your scalp recover)... but what surprised me is that the ash dye burned. I thought coloring doesn't hurt and only bleaching does.


As for the job thing that people are talking about...
I'm a programmer and pretty good at it (can I say that?). People really don't care how I look like (plus I'm confident about this anyway) and I think my talent far outweighs any objections people might have about my hair.
