I'm hoping to see the PS4 Pro readily available for 300 dollars during some crazy deals. Hopefully 350 with a game.
That will be a big price difference over whatever MS can offer. Maybe 450 during some crazy deals? 430?

XB1 would probably be the winner, but that $500 price tag makes it much less attractive. PS4 pro can do 4kish and that's good enough for many people, especially at $100 less. Exclusives also matter.

Switch is already looking to be the hot console now. It's now in stock and it seems to consistently outsell the other two. And yet they think it won't be in the running for the top two.

I think it's pretty common sense Switch is going to win the holiday. It just has too much insane momentum and insane demand. Plus Mario Odyssey.

I don't see what's going to push new playstations for the holiday season. GT Sport is nice, but it's a very particular simulation for a certain demographic. I don't see Sony slashing prices just to sell more consoles at this juncture, and I don't think PSVR is going to light the holidays on fire.

Don't forget. There are parents out there who just want to get a console for their kids. Maybe the kids are <10 years old and the 360 is a pretty suitable piece of hardware for them. It'll be much cheaper as well.

Driving games aren't popular in the US.

And regardless of how high quality Cuphead is, most mainstream gamers won't buy an entire console for a smaller indie game.

PUBG on the other hand could be a system seller. It does depend on visibility of smash hit titles in the PC space with casual console gamers. I'm interested to see how PUBG on Xbox will do.
