IDC: Xbox One X and PS4 Pro to be neck-and-neck this holiday season

Driving games aren't popular in the US.

And regardless of how high quality Cuphead is, most mainstream gamers won't buy an entire console for a smaller indie game.

PUBG on the other hand could be a system seller. It does depend on visibility of smash hit titles in the PC space with casual console gamers. I'm interested to see how PUBG on Xbox will do.

And i'll also say that there are quite alot of PS4 owners who love difficult platformers, so my guess is that Cuphead will eventually make it's way there.

One bit of craziness no-one seems to have latched onto yet:

IDC expects last-gen consoles (360 + PS3 + Wii U) to outsell the Switch.

I thought it was weird when I saw the XB1 on the graph instead of the S, but then I saw the 360, PS3, and Wii U. What the hell...

I don't believe the Xbox One X will be outselling the Nintendo Switch this Christmas season.

Besides the XBO X being much more expensive, the Switch is currently leading in NPD sales and has also has a genuin system seller - Mario.

1. LOL @ the Pro outselling the PS4 Slim
2. Can you even buy an original XB1 from retail chains anymore?

This chart reminds me of the Mario Kart one from Polygon.

1. LOL at both Pro and Xbox X outselling their respective lower cost versions.
2. LOL at Xbone X 2:1 outselling PS4 Slim.
3. Triple LOL at OG Xbone, 360 or WiiU selling anything in retail.
4. 360 outselling Xbone S ....
5. Switch at only 13.6 percent of the market.

This chart was put together by monkeys or someone completely stoned/drunk.
