From what I've seen in the streams the content: possibilities, details, animations, ai routines are NEXT-GEN
the graphics aren't but they the best graphics on current gen in a free roam game by a loong shot.

Agreed with the first paragraph, disagree with the second. THE BEST open world game? Come on son, it's not even the best Rockstar open world game.

what stood out to me in them was all the empty streets. All the ones I saw the streets were almost barren.

We can expect lots of pedestrians everywhere, also because it's based on LA, but I've seen roads filled with cars and with a good amount of people.
 
Yeah. Well. No. As far as I'm concerned, I'm in a "GTA V on PS4 or bust" mood (PC is an absolute minimum). I can wait, if the game is any good, it will be even better on more capable hardware. Plus I want to let the dust settle a bit after launch, I have zero confidence in game journalism especially when there's so much money involved.
 
If you want to know what's wrong with gaming journalism, just watch this video. Jesus, this circlejerk they've been pulling with the game is absolutely disgusting, it's clear that they'll be giving this a perfect ten but they're just not afraid of saying that they're being paid a ridiculous amount to advertise this. Take a look at their site right now, it's surrounded by GTA V advertisements with a majority of the articles about it. Hopefully the amount of people disliking this video will speak to them, but we all know that money is the louder persuader.

Despite being an Australian reader of IGN, I actively try to avoid the IGN AU content. It seems to me that they're pushing the Aussie "larrikin spirit" to give the site some character, but they end up with irresponsible bogans who think they're a lot funnier than they actually are.
 
And they say Kotaku is bad...

Here is something for you, take an IGN GTAV article(or GTAIV, that works too), and then take your average written sex fantasy, then tell me the difference.
 
Still think the written previews were way more cringeworthy.

I am glad these get posted here, I never go to IGN and I find these funny in a cringy sort of way.
 
Five reasons we need to get rid of actual gen:

-Sub HD games

-Very low framerate (most of games going 22-28 fps)

-Overly used brown color palette

-Lack of physics in games

-Stupid AI
 
Yep, if people didn't already figure it out from the slobbering previews, IGN is going to give this game unprecedented hype and marketing.
 
Somebody should take the crying kid getting GTAV early, gif it and put the IGN logo somewhere on the kid's shirt.
 
I still have a soft spot for Greg and Colin, but IGN has become nothing but click-bait anymore. They also currently have running articles trolling the viewers to tell them why they shouldn't cancel their Xbox One or PS4 orders.
 
Do you people still go to IGN? I don't understand how you guys find out about all the stupid shit they do without actually visiting the site. And if you are actually visiting the site, aren't you part of the problem? I don't have to go to an IGN site these days to know they suck balls, both literally and figuratively, and I'm sure as hell not going to give them the extra hits.

Persona 3 did come out in 2007 in the US (2nd year of PS3)
Persona 4 came out in late 2008.

It's highly likely Persona 5 and Persona 6 come out for PS3. No way will the engine assets used for P5 will just be for one game.
 
Does IGN(or any of these fucking sites) actually claim that any of its employees are journalists? I mean, is the word "journalist" in the title of the position these clowns have? I have to imagine they've given up even trying to present themselves as such, but I couldn't be arsed giving them the hits to find out.
