Well what did you expect, they'd ditch a company which gave them their iconic status...
I know, right? All those years of making Marathon and Myth games and then they sold out to Microsoft. It's just awful.

Did I hear that right, confirming full parity? No thanks, Bungie.
Honestly, fuck parity. I don't mean in terms of graphics, but using the touchpad on the ps4. I want to be able to do things by swiping. Swipe down should instantly call my sparrow.
Not press touchpad. Then hold in square for 3 seconds.
Just a Swipe down.
Swipe up switches to heavy or maybe uses your power.
The way they have it now is some lazy type shit.
What is this ridiculous comment supposed to mean?
Expect other visual downgrades on the xbox one compared to the PS4 if it's to maintain 1080p.
Was just being sarcastic guys, nothing serious to be honest...I am sick of guys whining about resolution sizes and framerates than talking about the game...Just look at TLOU thread...
Did you watch the video?

I think the press and hold is just meant to act as a "casting time" and to prevent you from doing it by accident, but I agree that it could be made more convenient.

Where that guy who kept saying the 1080p version was a lie and wouldn't happen? I think he needs a Crow to eat.

How can people complain about parity when the ps4 beta struggled with frame drops quite regularly?
You didn't know? Microsoft made Halo and just let Bungie put their name on it.
If they did this I would fully expect them to implement X1 voice commands.
If they want 100% parity, why not go all the way and keep it at parity with 360/PS:? Don't want the old gen feeling left out.
Yup that's the one. If I remember correctly didn't he do a bet as well ?
Yeah, there will probably be at least a few differences, even if they're mostly subtle stuff like AA quality, shadow resolution, AO precision, alpha effects, etc.
Yea it is a mediocre looking game on PS4. Bungie isnt known for graphics thoughI bet they will look identical in every single way. Destiny doesn't appear to push the PS4 at all, to me. I wonder what framerates you could get with an unlocked framerate.
If they implemented voice commands then they'd need Kinect, which they're disabling to get to 1080p.
perfect.
I'm still amazed when a game is 1080p on both consoles, people bitch and moan about it. Be happy people, game is going to look great on both next-gen consoles.
Can't wait for DF final version comparison of destiny, will be an interesting thread.
IGN are so far into microsofts pockets it's hilarious and ridiculous. They made a video just to tell people it will be 1080p. They literally talked about nothing else, and made sure to point out several time that "BOTH BE DA SAME, PLEASE PLAY ON BOTH". LOOL pathetic.

Destiny HAS to have some PS4 graphical benefits. Otherwise, it's purposely being held back for the sake of parity.

Thank god we have some non fanboy war starting news. Can't wait to play the full game
It's kind of sad listening to Ryan from IGN getting all excited about the "parity". As if it's to be applauded that Bungie isn't taking full advantage of the PS4 hardware.
To be clear, I'm not suggesting there should be massive differences, but there should be clear differences with the amount of extra juice the PS4 is offering.
