I actually don't like seeing these types of pictures posted, though. It's weird to post them in a public place (which is why I used a tame one as an example), and I think should be kept to fetish sites. Like that one dude with the fat Nintendo avatars pisses me off, because that's something I don't think you should wear with pride. You should be embarrassed by it. I want to be shamed out of it.

Well I'm pretty sure they changed their avatar after everyone started complaining about it lol.

Not sure how to help you with shaming yourself out of something like this though.

If this is serious, you have bigger problems than your fetish.

So could you experience this fetish in real life? Like meet a skinny woman and then watch her get really fat for a year? Or does it have to happen in a short amount of time?

You should never, ever be embarrassed by your fetishes, unless that's another fetish, to get embarrassed by things.

You should never be ashamed of what you are or what you like, no matter what. Instead, just learn how to deal with it in public and private situations, because it's what you do that counts.

It's obviously not just the fat thing because then he could just search for fat chick pics. Definitely food related, which is not hard for to understand since I do love me some food. I suppose I've never sexualized food though, although it is quite common to describe food as "orgasmic" or "better than sex." I suppose it's also pretty common to shove vegetables in orifices.

I've heard of giantism as a fetish before, it's not that uncommon although it's difficult to express outside artwork.

It's not harmful or creepy, I would just enjoy it.

Being a feeder of a gainer is a completely different fetish and is very harmful imo, I'd even consider it criminal.

There was this really cute girl that went to law school with me, but then she got pregnant and I thought she was even hotter when she was very pregnant, but a friend of mine told me it was a weird fetish. No shame.

This is hardly relationship ending, OP. It not like you're a furry or into bimbofication or something.

Denying it will only make your yearning for it worse. My advice is to embrace it. I know it sounds backwards, but the second you say "fuck it, this shit gets me hard so let's roll with it," you'll be amazed how little it dominates your thoughts afterwards.

Hell, being shamed out of your fetishes is probably even a fetish.

I always find this fetish funny. No offense, people like what they like, I just find it to be pretty outlandish in the extremes the art takes it to.

A personal favorite:

Like what you like, though, man. I like some weird shit, but I don't let it get me down. Internet is there for a reason, enjoy your life.

With time one comes to accept that fetishes are an ingrained part of you. They don't have to make sense or even be in accordance to your personality (I've known extremely sweet girls that have a thing for sadomasochism, for instance). The sooner you accept it and know how to give it its own space, the better, man.

I was on the same boat, having an embarrasing fetish that just popped up since I can recall...And it was horrible, because as it turns out, while not entirely asexual, I don't get sexual gratification just from looking at naked babes. I have to feel some sort of chemistry with the girl in question for my libido to be triggered. This was a cause of major confusion and even depression back in the days of puberty, where all of my friends were easily turned on by straight porn or more developed girls, and with me, just looking at them did nothing. So not being able to trigger the libido, coupled with this embarrasing fetish of mine, it made me feel afraid that I was broken somehow. That I was only ever gonna be able to derive sexual satisfaction from that embarrasing fetish and I was doomed to be alone. Thankfully, later I found out about the chemistry thing, knew how to enjoy both a lady's company and to relieve my fantasies in private, and the balance and much more stable mental peace is there, dude.

cognitive behavioural therapy can be used to get rid of a fetish, but you'd need to be able to openly discuss this with somebody.

if you can find a partner to discuss this with first it might make things easier, and maybe alleviate the embarrassment if you're both sharing what turns you on.

So you like giant bodies, but not in real life, only drawn? That's not too bad! Embrace it and have fun. I guess hentai got you covered or certain 3D erotic movies.

Genuinely serious here. Do you think something like pedophilia is a fetish, or a psychiatric disorder? If the former is true, wouldn't that mean that actively trying to get rid of it is impossible? Now I want to be clear that I don't condone the actions of pedophiles, but it's a little distressing that someone can be born with that kind of fetish. Almost like being forced into a game of russian roulette and losing.

Okay, here's an example I lifted from the "Awesome: Fan-Art Thread". I hate that thread because, while a lot of it is fucking weird, a few pictures are stuff I've seen before, and it reminds me I've got a weird fetish.

This is a really tame one, and this is more along my speed basically. It's not "fat girls", it's like when a skinny person gets really fat. I've always been aroused by this. Of course I have limits. I don't like when it involves the person experiencing serious pain, exploding, anything gory or bizarre. Basically just when a person gets really fat by eating food. Also, I usually like it if the person getting fat enjoys it, and if there's sort of a "dominating" aspect, like they're proud of themselves and not embarrassed.

...

Nooooooooo, anybody but Nemissa

Are you having sex with people or are you a jerkoff fiend? This fetish sounds kind of far removed from reality...I predict the product of rampant, rampant wanking?

What fetish isn't embarrassing? I like feet and I find it be pretty embarrassing but I figure everyone has one(some sort of fetish) so there's nothing to be embarrassed about in the end.

Now if you have a fetish that violates laws then maybe you should seek therapy.

I'm all for embracing fetishes, but it's understandable that there are definitely some people would want to keep to themselves.

It helps if you have a friend who has just as weird a fetish so you can bullshit back and forward about it.

There supposedly was a good book about this subject recently. Haven't read it, but the guy was on a podcast I listen to. I'll see if I can find the title.

Saline injections.

No...that's real. The same stuff people use to do this.

No it's not, that photo is very clearly photoshop. Find me another picture of that guy and we'll see.

And it's synthol over saline for that size, but not in this case.

Fetishes are perfectly natural. It's arguable that sexual attraction is hardwired into you since birth and you don't control what you get turned on by, embrace your fetish as long as it isn't hurting anyone, but if you feel embarrased don't bring it up in front of people who are not into the same things you are.

Nobody should care what anyone else is turned on by if it's not hurting anyone.

As long as you can also get turned on by other kinds of porn and are attracted to normal humans then I think you should put your effort towards not feeling bad about it rather than not being into it. As long as you have the good sense to know you shouldn't just start talking to strangers about it you'll be fine. It's okay to have secrets.

Of course if your fetish was children or something I'd be giving different advice.

1) You can understand that your fetish is symbolic of something the fetish represents, and try to transfer it onto something else. This takes a lot of self-analysis. What key words are important to your fetish? "Expansion"? What does "expansion" mean to you? What other kinds of images come to mind when you hear "expansion"? Things like that.

2) You can choose to embrace your fetish, and that's perfectly fine as well. I have my own fetish that I don't openly discuss, and I really enjoy satisfying it when I can. :) Some parts can't be satisfied. :-(
