"Era is saying this!""No one said that!"
*shows evidence that someone said that*
"Well, I'll just move the goalpost!"
"Era is saying this!"
"No they aren't."
"Here's proof!"
"Oh...one person said that out of hundreds of posts. I see."
"LOL OWNED!!!!"
No, it doesn't, but there is always a person who has to make this post when people try to have discourse about the subject. This thread shows just how much white people actually "want" to use the "N" word in their daily lives publically.
He invited her on stage to do exactly what she did, and then shamed her in front of a huge crowd for doing exactly what she was supposed to do.He didn't get mad. He politely gave her a chance to give it another try.
She was able to sing along while being respectful. It wasn't a horrible request, and it's certainly not difficult thing to do.
Let's be outraged, though.
Also, I tend to agree that it is stupid for white people or non blacks in general to use the word, especially if they are not from the hood. But anyone who grew up in the hood knows blacks don't just call each other nigga, they call everyone nigga, my nigga, this nigga, that nigga, fuck that nigga etc; so to act like it's some closely guarded word withon the black american lexicon is pure bullshit, and so is the phony outrage.

What if someone black doesn't know when a particular white person saying the word means ill intent or not?
Kendrick knew exactly what he was doing. Now everyone can see just how "woke" he is.
Are you speaking for all black people?Keep fighting that good fight people. One of these days black folks will see the light and stop being so mean and selfish with that word.
Are you speaking for all black people?
Just wondering about my friends, did you talk to them? Cuz i'm white and they call me nigga all the time.
Hell the 8th grade kids I work with call me nigga.
If you put a word in every cool movie, cool song, cool people is saying it all day in the street... people are going to use it.Yes it does. Many white people are talking as if they want to equally be able to say the word or make all black people stop using the word.
Will do!Just keep on keeping on. Those selfish mean black folk will realize the serious plight they've put white people through by telling them not to use one single word that they probably use anyway.
Will do!
I was just making sure you talked to all the black people before you made a statement on the entire races behalf.
But clearly you are of sound mind and have done extensive research on how "selfish" black people are.
Keep up the good fight too sir.

(This is the use of the soft a, where it as meant as an acknowledgement of companionship or greeting, not the hard R. Everybody gets pissed at the hard R.)
This always amuses me since they both come off sounding the same or at the very least are extremely close sounding.
(Unless it's different in America and they have a silent G or something?? Niggag?)
But Niggargh and Niggerrr must cause some confusion, should have just ended it with a 'Z', we all know the use of 'Z' has been cool since Dragonball.
I mean it really does depend on the context but yeah basically. Its a very touchy subject on free speech/hate speech.>Rapper uses nigger
>gets mad when others say nigger

Abbo kiwi?In Australia, we don’t pronounce the letter ‘r’ if it’s on the end of a word, so ‘nigger’ would be pronounced as ‘nigga’. Therefore, there is no racist form of the word in Australia.

Is it? I don't see other ethnicity group using their slur words in songs as such. Then again rap is more of an insulting/ego trip so it makes sense the word is used so freely in it.
No white person should ever feel comfortable to say it, whether it's in a song they love or not. If a black artist chooses to use language that has been used to denegrate & oppress their race, that's their perogative to find and use the context that it works within, but us white people have no right to say it. Even this still being a discussion is idiotic. Show some understanding, just because you're white doesn't mean you get the keys to everything.

I hope so. White people need to take it back. Stop stealing our words. Or just stop getting upset when people use it. Imagine if there was a word white people said that black people couldn't. There would be riots.Keep fighting that good fight people. One of these days black folks will see the light and stop being so mean and selfish with that word.
Why would anybody feel uncomfortable about a word that's so widely used? If you wanna be one of those white guilt people then go ahead but I have nothing to be guilty about. And btw NEVER listen to this song or your might have a panic attack. That goes for all people that feel uncomfortable about the word 'nigga'. You have been warned. No white person should ever feel comfortable to say it, whether it's in a song they love or not. There are 2 ways out of this: Either artists stop using the word in their records, movies and media or the word is going to be normalized. No white person should ever feel comfortable to say it, whether it's in a song they love or not. If you keep promoting a word all around the world and expect people not using it, you are fooling yourself.
In my country (spain), some kids and young people are using it just to sound cool. Don't get me wrong, this isn't widespread, use isn't common, but it's there.
Recently I did a favor to a friend of mine and she said "my nigga" meaning to say thank you. I am a spanish guy, she is a spanish girl, we are both white, we are speaking spanish and she said "my nigga" to say thank you. And she is a leftist: she is pro refugees, pro animal rights, against guns, against war, thinks trump is a racist monster...
Do you understand how powerful music, movies and media are? If the word is getting here, it's only reasonable to think its use is going to get more and more widespread in the US.
But she didn't say it to anyone whose black.
Does it matter if she did or not? Kendrick destroyed her life.
Reality right now is that she has to shut down all social media accounts and go on a "vacation" far away. Is she receiving death threats? I can put down real money on, YES, hundreds.
Maybe she should be fired from her job. If she has kids in school they should be prepared to be beaten up every day from now on.
Social media will sentence her justly for her sin /s
Jesus christ how quickly things can turn to shit. You are at the concert with your #1 artist, he calls you up on stage with him to sing one of his songs. Top of the world mum.
20 seconds later he throws you under the bus and your life is destroyed forever.
Good stuff. /s
