JEEZ I just tried this game on my new Samsung TV and it's laggy [in terms of controls] as fuck. Even on high precision.

I suppose I finally understand the complaints.

Sure, Killzone 2 is fine on a lag free display, but try gaming on a display with 40ms input lag. Killzone 2 feels impossible to play.

Who would get a Tv with 40ms lag and expect gaming to be fine on it? :O

Played some last night again and had an EPAK assination kill on Suljeva. ISA scum were held up in their cliffside tunnel so I pick up the flame thrower and start burning my way in the tunnel, 6 guys were held up and I managed to toast the target and got shot. Too little too late because the target burned to death. :lol

however i made it to the higher ranking rooms and all i can say is fuck the rocket launcher, i hope thats removed from 3, people just fire that in a group (since everyone is always grouped) and get 3 kills. I stole someones rocket launcher and got a triple kill haha.

Also i picked up someones sniper and zoomed in and noticed you can 2x/5x? how do you zoom twice?

You can get all the trophies against bots. And obviously you can see the maps that way, too.

There's usually at least one DLC server. The trick is to find one with assault disabled.

I'm always afraid the minute I say this it will no longer be true, lol ... but: it's been very consistent for months and months, usually around 900-1200 people. Lots of BC-only, Radec-only bullshit, but I've never had any problems finding a regular ol' warzone game with all maps in rotation.

Good to know. Don't want to jinx it or anything. I remember playing to the end of Killzone 2 (one of the few recent controller based shooters I've played) but never fully finished the final battle. Got to the point where the bad guy entered the fight himself and was teleporting around the room and I just had enough at that point. Even playing on "normal" I just couldn't react fast enough. I remember thinking "This is bs" when I had to encounter wave after wave. Getting up to the stairs was a challenge. That final area and the train were the only areas I had a lot of problems with. I rented it I believe and never took it out again.

Was thinking of picking it up used instead of maybe getting Black Ops. The Warzone modes sounds pretty interesting and it seems a bit slower paced then CoD in terms of play from the videos I've seen. No kill streaks seem to be present either. Not really a fan of those which is why I'm liking GoldenEye's online modes. I'm a fan of the KZ2's overall look as well. I think I only played one multiplayer match and that was just to mess around as I wasn't really that interested in playing it online at the time. However playing shooters online on the Wii has me wanting to really try out different games now.

You've answered your own question, it's one of the easier maps to raise ones KDR, and humans can be horrible creatures when stats are concerned.

Just played some games tonight, can confirm: yeah, pretty much still the same as it's been for months. Like, more or less it was the same tonight as it was six months ago. Still way more active than MAG, for instance. I'd predict at least another 6 months, maybe even another year (heck, maybe more, who the hell knows) before it dies. You're good to go if you want to jump in.

Beat the sp today. Was a pretty fun campaign though quite short. Looks friggin amazing too. Glad I got my hd monitor not too long ago.

So I just started playing the multiplayer for the first time, and my goodness is this game hectic. It seems like body count is all that is being played and afterawhile I really started liking it. Just mindless fun! I hated it at first since I kept dying over and over but eventually got the hang of it.

I needed a break from that and found a room with objective matches and it was a lot of fun also. Nice change of pace when things aren't blowing up all over the place and my team seemed to work pretty well together.

I see myself sticking to the mp for awhile. It'll be nice to get away from CoD for awhile. Playing bodycount is pretty addicting. I'll have to play with some Gaffers sometime.

Playing through the SP again, haven't played it in about a 18 months or so. I really enjoy this game, it's even better too with the controller patch and I think the medic gun has a new animation. Looks like an actual beam and not a static image.

I can't wait for KZ3.

Go to chapter select, select the chapter you're on and a lower difficulty.

This game still has an active online community right? I already know it's small but I want to know if it's easy to find games on every map. Killzone 3's multiplayer was kind of a letdown and I'm thinking of picking this back up.
