OMG, yes!!!

I didn't think season 2 was horrible, but it was definitely a step down, but season 3 has been incredible from start to finish, and tonight's episode is the best episode to date of any season, and is a front runner for episode of the year of ANYTHING.

Profession or Career interest? Currently majoring in Psychology at CMU. Once I get by B.S. though, I'm not quite sure yet what I'd like to do next. I'm mostly leaning towards going into a School Counseling program so I can become a high school guidance counselor (leaning towards this precisely because I didn't know what I wanted to do with myself at all during the bulk of my life so I think that I'd love to be able to help people in the same position that I was to figure things out). I'm also definitely tossing around the idea of being a School Psychologist though, as well as a few other related ideas. We'll see what happens, I guess.

Favorite video game(s)? Super Mario Galaxy (2), Kid Icarus: Uprising, The World Ends With You, Xenoblade Chronicles, Final Fantasy XII

What are your hobbies (other than gaming)? Unfortunately, nothing really much at the moment--I barely even play games at the moment (only really played three games last year: DKC: Tropical Freeze, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, and Captain Toad). Combination of not having much time or money or anything right now, especially the latter. Would really love to get into and learn how to cook a bunch of stuff, and both archery and camping really catch my interest to some degree or another, but I just need to find the time and money to actually do something about that stuff first.

Then you haven't listened to any rap other than the very few things you've experienced, and you're writing off a whole genre based off of that very limited experience. I'm not sure why people generalize so heavily like that.

There's actually a thread in the OT recently on the whole "I like everything but country and rap" phenomenon that people say. It's a funny phenomenon, but tbh it's also pretty sad.

I can't speak for anyone else, but the reason why I don't like rap is that the general rythm and the tendency of talking rather than melodically singing just rubs me the wrong way. I know that's a generalisation, but I just genuinely don't like the way it sounds.

With that said I acknowledge that there are a lot of truly great rap songs and artists and that the way some of them use language is remarkable and way beyond what most of the pop scene is capable of. It's just not for me.

Oh wow, you're really lucky! It took almost a year for me to get approved iirc.

I think I still have a lot to say about many topics but this thread for instance moves so goddamn fast. There's a lot of interesting stuff discussed here but when I see it the subject has already changed a dozen times and then it's too late. :D

Seems like I've entered the old geezer phase. :p
