Quality looks better than the PS4 IMO

According to a guy on the stream:

Xbox One streams 1280x720, 30 fps, ~2.5 Mbps on Twitch, For comparison, PS4 streams 960x540, 30 fps ~1.7 Mbps.

So when you are streaming, you can see the chat in that chat overlay, but watchers will only see the game.

I wish he'd clarify seeing chat. I know he said he can snap it in, but he also said he sees it on his Surface. I wonder if the Surface is showing Twitch chat via SmartGlass, or if he just has Twitch loaded in the browser. SmartGlass for chat would be fantastic.

It isn't nearly a big enough difference to warrant a reaction like that. XB1's seems to be a bit better, but not much at all.

The best thing about this is it archives. That's a big deal in my opinion and I don't know why PS4 doesn't do it.

You have to let the PS4 app "load" the quality. It'll load into 240p when you jump into a stream, then 360p, then finally HD in about eight seconds or so.
