I'm the reverse, much prefer Spotted Flowers than I Don't Understand. But thats probably just my bias against almost all 4komas.

I'm still reading and enjoying Genshiken...its just turned into something different. Seems like its try to have its cake and eat it too, and thats always near impossible.

I'm really hoping the in Shokugeki that Erina breaks out of her glum thing. She was a lot more amusing as a generic tsundere than as always-sadface girl.

Lol okay. Also I am not sure if it is the translation or not but a lot of the dialogue is "AAAAAAH" and variants. Sometimes there can be 8 speech bubbles on a page and all of them are screaming.

That's also normal. Umezu Kazuo is kind of famous for that, along with the accompanying screaming face.

This is why you don't go to a dungeon without a dedicated healer. Now that i think about it, Senshi using MP healing herb to cook basilisk is understandable, since he don't give a shit about magic. And give the poor girl some of those meat!

Never read Bakuman but I like Death Note so lets see how this goes.

Well, this sure does seem familiar to Death Note. Replace the Reaper with an Angel and the Death Note with these powers and throw in the God thing and it's very similar. Hopefully it grows into it;s own.

They only have one week to ever make the top of the month since most dont even chart (beyond Sekaiichi and Junjou Romantica, and now Ten Count). most of the rest could really only get to top 30 - 50. (Kuroneko Kareshi no Aishikata (series occasionally charts) when it releases, aitsu no daihonmei, Toshishita Kareshi no Renai Kanriguse) but alot others never chart, and then for these they only chart at 20-30K on debut.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable Volume 1-18 Re-read

Yep this after reading this part again I can say for sure that it is still my favorite of all the eight parts. The characters are both lovable and memorable though Josuke still has some shit hair (lol). The characters went through some really good developments, especially my boy Koichi. Really enjoyed the comedy in this part as well. Tonio's restaurant is still hilarious after all this time. The small town setting really is a breath of fresh air after the world tour that was Stardust Crusaders. I truly believe that one of the strengths of Part 4 is that the conflict is on a smaller scale than that of Part 3 and that the first half really allowed Araki to flesh out his characters through their interactions with other Stand users in the town.

The second half of this part truly shines for me the most though, especially with the introdcution of one of my favorite antagonists in all of manga
Kira Yoshikage
. Whereas DIO was mostly involved only in the final arc of Stardust Crusaders, he was very much present throughout the latter half of Diamond is Unbreakable and seeing him in action was a true joy to read through.

My favorite story arcs of this part have to be:

Kira Yoshikage wants a Quiet Life
Sheer Heart Attack
Highway Star
Janken Boy is Coming
Enigma Boy
Another One Bites the Dust
Crazy Diamond is Unbreakable

Trivia, in the fighting game adaptation arcade mode ending

i think we've long established you and i have somewhat divergent tastes lol. Although tbh I never read the 4koma, just watched the easily digestible show.

The ending was horrible, I spent hundreds buying the manga and it's the only manga regret buying to this day. There was no payoff :( (stupid open endings)

Bleach Ah man, it's chapters like this that remind me I secretly really like Bleach. I think Kubo's designs are top notch, from bird monster to that arm forming, to the zanpacto's human form, it's all really cool to look at.

One Piece SInce that sentence didn't end in "Dead" I'm assuming he's captured. Incidentally, wonder what's wrong with the town. There always has to be something wrong for Luffy to punch.

Yeah. That final act was pretty awful (and went on forever), I only kept going become I thought it was going to be a diversion and it would return to what it was.

Right. Admittedly I never read the 4koma, just tried (and quite disliked) an episode or two of the anime.

My eyes are a little wet. *sniff*

He basically laid it out there for all of them, especially for Hiroko. I really liked that the character's were responding to the contents of the letter as they were running around. I also how the author set up the scene in the next chapter. Only those two would know this and it totally makes sense.

I can't wait to read the next chapter.

The minks actually show their love and affection which is weird (not really good in a sense that "those" fans will do "those" type of fan-fiction because of it). So Nami and Chopper are alive but Sanji was probably captured. Also it is kinda unfortunate that we didn't see what happened with Captain Jack vs those fleets.

it's just a frenetic distraction for 3 or 4 episodes but inexplicably around episode 5 i started feeling emotions about the show. It helps episodes are like 5 minutes or so, really easily digestible.
