German Gamepro gives it 90% and the German CBS an A. No 60 FPS for local multiplayer with 3 or 4 players. :-(

That we have to wait for a game that's basically out already, and watch as content gets posted on Miiverse, only teasing us further.
Three weeks and a day, friends.
To be honest I was never expecting this. I'm actually surprised the game stays at 60fps with two players, especially online. That's a step up from Wii at least.

I'll never understand this complaint. What's the list of current-gen console games with 4-player splitscreen (that's already an achievement in itself) that can hold a rock solid framerate (that's also another achievement) of 30fps?

8 AI concurrents while maintaining good graphics and 30fps when others racers just offer 30fps in solo mode. By industry standard it's quite a good performance on this front.

I have no doubts about the performance, it would just have been great to have 60 FPS with 4 players. N64, GCN and Wii were too weak for it, but the WiiU plays in a different league. I would have accepted 480p to achieve it.

Collision from a green shell which shatters and the pieces go through the textures. Another racer got hit most likely. Not that noticeable in normal gameplay.
There are so much game to play right now, TW101, Pikmin 3, SM3DW, WWHD, etc. plus some eshop games.

Is it me, or the the vehicle parts in this game have much, much better design than 7's parts?
Seriously, in 7 it is a pain to make anything with good looks as well as good stats, but in 8, every kart/bike design I've seen looks pretty damn good!
