a lot of people were either hate watching the whole thing, watching the whole thing to write reviews or, like me, feeling they had to at least second screen it while doing something more interesting.
a recast with the immortal iron fist storyline should do the trick. Can we just reboot Iron Fist? The entire show was a mess except maybe Gao and Ward and even then they weren't anywhere near enough to salvage that snoozefest.
They need to figure out how to support longer seasons instead of feeling like they all lose their way 2/3rds in and just meander towards the finish line.
Ward was the best part of the show. That actor was also the best part of Banshee season 4 (and season 3 if I'm being honest). He's great.
Someone made a good point in another thread that everyone enjoyed Ward so much in part because he seemed to hate everything going on around him as much as audiences were not enjoying watching it. Ward was basically the audiences Avatar. Those middle fingers were our middle fingers.
This, please.
Why not daredevil 3...?
Where's Luke Cage Season 2?
EW has learned the Marvel superhero drama will change showrunners for its next round. Scott Buck (Dexter) is stepping down from the top writing gig on the show with Raven Metzner (Sleepy Hollow, Falling Skies) being hired to fill the top slot.

Did you see the credits for the person taking over?
I'm not too familiar with those two shows outside of the premise of each. This is a good thing right?
Can we not.
These people were more interesting than the title character.
I'd watch the Ward Meachum show though.
Looking at his IMDb, dude was the writer for Electra. Uh oh.
Iron Fist Season 3 to be helmed by Uwe Boll
-Replace Scott Buck
-Replace him with Elektra writer who ran two terrible shows.
This new Showrunner is an upgrade from Buck.
Sleepy Hollow was pretty good though
He's an upgrade in the same way that getting kicked in the balls once is an upgrade from getting kicked in the balls twice.
No. And most of the reactions in here are based on not knowing a thing about the dude's work.
For one, he wasn't showrunner of Sleepy Hollow or Falling Skies. As far as I can tell, this is his first shot at the job.
He's primarily been a writer/producer thus far. And the stuff he's written hasn't actually been objectively bad. It's been ok to good for genre television. Which is exactly what is needed for this type of show. Someone who understands genre.
Elektra has two other names on the writing credit, so you can't parse what was his input and what belonged to others.
But, you know, it's funnier to go with extreme reactions. So, I guess keep on keeping on.

Cool. We will.
